Awesome Halo cosplay dubbed ‘the best I’ve seen’ by fans

Halo Cosplay can be hard to get right, but one newbie cosplayer has done an incredible job of recreating the armor and using it to bring the game to life. The beautiful red armor takes inspiration from Halo 3: ODST and also a little from Titanfall 2 in the helmet design. What’s impressive is that the cosplay doesn’t look too awkward to move around, making it even more realistic as you can imagine them in action.

Recently a Reddit user and aspiring cosplayer named Kerillian555 amazed fans with their posts revealing Halo cosplay. In the comments, responding to many, Kerillian555 even explains some of the creative processes and mentions that the project took about two and a half months to complete.

The use of a red armor design makes this cosplay stand out even more against the green background that Kerillian555 used for his photos.

Mixture of Halo 3: ODST and Titanfall 2: inspiration

Although much of the inspiration for the armor and weapons was taken from Halo 3: ODST, Kerillian555 notes in the comments that the helmet partially resembles a pilot’s helmet in Titanfall 2. This look goes well together and creates an overall cosplay effect that has had fans like Kronik-Spirit calling it one of the best they’ve seen, especially for a first-time cosplay.

Kerillian555 noted that the armor and weapons were made primarily of EVA foam, and the visor creatively used a colored plastic paper holder.
