Dark Horse Comics has just been announced on social media that the Avatar: The Last Airbender – The Lost Adventures and Tales of Team Avatar Buswill hit stores in June 2025. This release is an anthology that will bring together stories from The lost adventures and Avatar Tales Team, respectivelyfitting perfectly into the established continuity of the cartoon.
With this release, Aang, Katara, Sokka and the rest of the fan-favorite cast are set to reunite on fun-filled adventures set in the time period of the beloved original series.

The next Avatar: The Last Airbender – The Lost Adventures and Tales of Team Avatar Bus is a reprint of stories that take place during the original seriesfilling in the gaps left in the show’s continuity. The lost adventures consists of comics that were initially published in Nickelodeon Magazine during the show’s run, with some written by creatives who worked on the show itself. These stories starring Aang are ranked in the order of where they take place in each of the series’ “Books,” allowing them to truly feel like lost episodes of the TV hit. series.
Team Avatar Taleson the other hand, it includes more recent adventures from Dark Horse Comics. Featuring stories from Gene Luen Yang, Dave Scheidt, Kiku Hughes and others, these comics align with the series’ continuity and take place between certain episodes. What sets this anthology apart from the previous one is that it also tells stories that take place after the series’ climactic final battle against Fire Lord Ozai.
