While the UCM is currently riding a wave of positivity around Agatha all the timeits lowest-rated shows still reveal a lot about the franchise. Marvel TV shows didn’t fall strictly into MCU canon until WandaVision arrived on the then-new Disney+ platform in 2021. At the time, WandaVision was a positive sign of things to come, as it remains one of the highest-rated MCU shows to date. This prognosis has remained consistently justified for the most part, although a few outliers have broken Marvel Studios’ winning streak in recent years. Before the MCU began integrating Disney+ shows into its main group,…

Thanos could return to the MCU in Avengers: Secret Wars and replicate an iconic scene straight from the comics. Avengers: Secret Wars is set to be released on May 7, 2027, and will conclude the MCU’s Multiverse Saga with what promises to be the most important events since Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. With confirmation that Avengers: The Kang Dynasty was replaced by Avengers: Judgment Dayit is likely that the latter directly configures the Avengers: Secret Wars with Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom taking on the role of arch-villain in both. Story details for Avengers: Secret Wars are yet…

Mark Hamill played Joker in live-action 22 years ago, but the DC production is rarely mentioned. Mark Hamill is responsible for one of the most beloved depictions of Joker that debuted in Batman: The Animated SeriesAlthough he has reprized the role for several other animated productions such as Justice League And Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. Due to how prolific he was with the character across animation, Hamill is often considered the archetypal voice for the Joker, while Heath Ledger is often considered the quintessential Joker in live-action. There was a significant gulf between cinematic live-action depictions of the Joker…

Many Agatha all the time Theories were disproved when the MCU show ended, but one of the biggest examples is still arguably correct. Agatha all the time ended with a double final episode, bringing a decidedly poignant end to the Witches’ Road adventure. From start to finish, the show was filled with big reveals, with Teen’s true identity as Billy Maximoff/William Kaplan and Rio Vidal’s true identity as the MCU’s Lady Death being the most important to the future of the MCU. The final episode of Agatha all the time it was mostly a tragic flashback sequence showing how Agatha…

Kathryn Hahn has proven herself to be an MCU trailblazer thanks to two big new features in Ágatha Everything Together, and I’m seriously impressed. Agatha all the time was extremely well-received after concluding with a two-part final episode in late October. Praise was given to its stellar cast, original narrative, enchanting set design and the beautiful way it handled motifs of trauma and ostracism. For me, it was also a reminder of how engaging Kathryn Hahn is as the titular redeemed villain – and I can’t wait to see even more of her in the future. It’s safe to say…

Billy Maximoff, aka Wiccan, is fully established in UCMwhich raises the question of where he might appear next. Billy Maximoff debuted in WandaVision as the son of Wanda Maximoff and Vision conjured entirely from Wanda’s chaos magic along with his twin brother, Tommy. Recognizing the immorality of the spell in which Wanda imprisoned Westview and its residents, Wanda dispelled everything he conjured – which tragically included her two children and Vision. Naturally conceived variants of Billy and Tommy would appear briefly in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Still, this was far from the end for Earth-616’s Billy Maximoff.…

It has been 16 years since The Dark Knight was released and left a mystery hanging over the DC film, but now the answers have been revealed. The Dark Knight is considered one of the greatest superhero films of all time, thanks to its exemplary interpretations of Batman lore, with Heath Ledger’s Joker being a standout. His frenzied, violent take on what was once a camp villain remains paradigmatic, with his motives a terrifyingly unpredictable antithesis to Batman’s concern for order. The Joker’s desire to sow chaos is further exemplified by his reluctance to be kind to key members of…

I think the fight against Knull has the potential to be better than the MCU fight against Thanos in Avengers: Endgameespecially if Sony’s Spider-Man Universe utilizes a particular superhero team. So far, Sony’s Spider-Man universe has only hosted three main characters – Venom, Morbius and Madame Web – with Kraven the Hunter prepared to debut the most openly villainous of this roguish cast. Unfortunately for Sony, these characters haven’t been as profitable as the Marvel hero after whom the franchise is named, casting doubt on the future of Sony’s film franchise. In fact, Venom was the most financially successful character…

Classifying the UCM The Infinity Stones, due to their power levels, come with the obvious caveat that possession of any of them in the hands of those who know how to use them is equivalent to omnipotence. If the goal is to exterminate entire populations, each of the stones will be able to achieve that goal in one way or another. It turns out that it takes a while to achieve these goals, while a snap of the fingers is much more efficient. Efficient, at least, for characters that would survive Snap replication. With that said, the MCU’s Infinity Stones…
