Astro Bot just got even better with 5 weeks of new updates confirmed, starting tomorrow

The developers at Team Asobi will sweeten the pot by adding five speedrun levels to Astro BotFor free, in the coming weeks. The latest PlayStation exclusive release immediately won the hearts of many of its players with its cheerful platforming style, engaging soundtrack and adorable characters, many of which are cameos from other games. The free levels offer new special bots to save, additional unique platforming styles and more hours for people to enjoy spending time in the exciting world of PlayStation.

Starting on October 17th, Team Asobi will be updated Astro Bot Weekly with five additional speed-running levels to the game. Levels will be automatically added as long as players have an active internet connection and the game is installed. There is no charge for this added content, other than the initial purchase of the game. Astro Bot Already received many positive reviews for the initial base game, which makes the free extras as surprising as they are exciting.

Astro Bot Could easily become game of the year for 2024 due to the abundance of positive reviews and the hype that has surrounded the game since its release in early September. Its fun, and smooth, gameplay mixed with a fantastic soundtrack quickly made it to the top of my list of favorite games for the year, as it was for many others. The only real downside that the game has is that it can feel too short, which is something the five updates remedy.

To see such a large series of ​​added content so soon after release is surprising, but developers at Team Asobi say on the PlayStation blog that the feedback they keep getting is that players wanted more. Hopefully, these five free content updates will help satiate that need for a while, and maybe give Astro Bot An even bigger chance to become game of the year.
