When all the songs from the Arcane Season 2 Act 1 soundtrack are played in the series

Each episode of Arcane season 2 has two important musical moments

“I Can’t Hear It Now” by Arcane & Freya Ridings

“I Can’t Hear It Now” plays at the beginning Arcane Season 2, Act 1, setting the tone for the season. “I Can’t Hear It Now” is performed by Freya Ridings and the Arcane music department, who are credited on almost every song in the season. Somber music plays during Caitlyn’s mother Cassandra’s funeral during “Heavy Is The Crown.” The black and white visuals make it the first of Arcane the songs from season 2 to take on the quality of a music video. This is something it shares with other tracks from the season, as well as Season 1.

“Heavy Is The Crown” by Arcane, Mike Shinoda and Emily Armstrong

“Heavy Is The Crown” plays at the end of the episode that bears its name. The track plays in the background as Caitlyn and her strike force (including Vi) announce their plans to move to Zaun to hunt Jinx. The song is a more triumphant track than “I Can’t Hear It Now,” although it carries some darker elements that tease the direction of Caitlyn’s plot.

“Sucker” by Marcus King, Arcane

“Sucker” plays at the beginning of the second episode of Arcanesecond season, “Watch It All Burn”. The song serves as a soundtrack to the chaos that has taken over the Lanes in Zaun, with the various Chem-Barons vying for control after the Arcane end of season 1. The song also takes on a stylized music video quality, focusing on Jinx’s sense of isolation after the events of the first season.

“Renegade (We Never Run)” by Stefflon Don, Raja Kumari, Jarina De Marco and Arcane

“Renegade (We Never Run)” plays during one of the last scenes of “Watch It All Burn”. The upbeat track serves as musical accompaniment to Sevika and Jinx’s fight against Smeech and his gang. Notably, the song features some excerpts from “Get Jinxed”, which was briefly featured in Arcane 1st season and accompanied the announcement of Jinx’s debut in League of Legends. This fusion of songs signifies the new bond forming between the old rivals in light of Silco’s demise.

“Hellfire” by Arcane and Jason Aalon Of Fever 333

“Hellfire” plays during the opening sequence of Arcane season 2 episode 3, ‘I finally got the right name.’ The song plays in the background of Caitlyn’s invasion of Zaun alongside her strike force. The sequence has a heavy style, even compared to other music video-like moments from the season. “Hellfire” also underscores the intensity of the quest and the dangers it inherently carries for the group as they venture deeper into the underground city.

“To Ashes and Blood” by Woodkid

“To Ashes And Blood” is performed by Woodkid and occurs during the climactic moments of the first act of Arcane season 2. Music plays as Jinx and Vi face off in the underground. Woodkid previously appeared on Arcanewith the track “Guns for Hire” playing in episode 6 of the first season.
