Warning: spoilers ahead for Shrinking season 2, episodes 1-7.Apple TV+ Shrinking leans into the comedic side of its dramatic genre label to influence the actors the show brings in, leading to an array of guest stars. The newest additions to Shrinking The cast boosted the already impressive profile of Bill Lawrence’s show, featuring actors from several hit series in roles of varying importance. Although Shrinkingthe main characters remain the focus of the storythe more recent figures are impossible to ignore due to the pedigree of the actors who play them.

Led by big names like Jason Segal and Harrison Ford, Shrinking has quickly become one of the best shows on Apple TV+. His ability to quickly switch between emotional moments and shocking jokes is a signature move of showrunner Bill Lawrence, and Shrinking does this as well as other Lawrence projects – like Rub and Ted Lasso. Even if some of the stars aren’t there permanently, it’s hard to argue that Shrinking Nor is it building one of the best TV casts of all time. Lawrence has worked on so many shows now that it’s clear he has a preference for working with certain actors over others. That being said, Krista Miller’s presence as Liz in Shrinking is the only cast on the show that can be attributed to Lawrence’s collection of frequent collaborators. However, ShrinkingThe litany of impressive guest stars comes from hit comedy shows. For example, Shrinking The season 2 introduction of the man who killed Segal’s character’s wife is played by Brett Goldstein – best known for his time working with Lawrence while playing Roy Kent in Ted Lasso.

Lawrence strengthened the Shrinking season 2 cast in other ways. Firstly, there’s the return of Neil Flynn as Raymond – who debuted in Shrinking season 1. Flynn is known for playing the janitor in Ruband also Mike Heck in The middle. Shrinking season 2 also included a mini City of Cougars reunion featuring Josh Hopkins as Mac to ruin his former co-star Liz’s character’s relationship. If all that wasn’t enough, then Damon Wayans Jr. Shrinking character will bring back many memories for New girl fans – in which the actor played Coach.
