Agatha Harkness has apparently brushed aside Rio’s revelation to focus on the next Witch Road trial. Agatha all together episode 5. The Salem Seven are daughters of Agatha Harkness’s original coven.
The origin of the Salem Seven gets a major overhaul to adapt to the MCU
After witnessing Agatha Harkness and her fellow witches open a portal to the Witch Road, the Salem Seven approach the team and reach them before they arrive at the base of the third trial. Lilia Caldera and Rio Vidal are the only members of the clan who know about the origins of the Salem Seven. As Lilia explains, “When Agatha killed her witch sisters, she spared their little children.” Rio follows him “Yeah, and then they became a wild, collective coven out for revenge.” The witch sisters Lilia mentions are Agatha’s original clan, who accused her of practicing dark magic and sent her to the stake.
In the comics, the origin story of the Salem Seven is completely different. Instead of being daughters of Agatha’s original coven, all members of the Seven are children of Nicholas Scratch, meaning that they are all Agatha’s grandchildren. And instead of prosecuting Agatha for betraying her mother, Marvel Comics’ Salem Seven pursued Agatha because Nicholas Scratch considered Agatha leaving New Salem as a betrayal of her hometown. In the Marvel Comics universe, the Salem Seven are super-powered avatars of Agatha who, when combined, transform back into Agatha.

Agatha’s clan flies on brooms
Flying brooms are a controversial part of witch culture in MCU history.
As the Salem Seven close in on Agatha’s clan, Tin suggests a quick and practical escape method called “hexenebezene”. The coven immediately opposes this idea, but they have no alternative. Witches pull tree branches out of the ground and perform a short ritual, turning them into flying brooms. When Tin asks Lilia Caldera why witches hate brooms so much, Lilia replies: “Brooms have been co-opted by the holiday industrial complex as an absurd emblem of our culture.”. In other words, flying brooms have been ridiculed in pop culture for decades in the MCU Also.

Agatha Harkness was able to fly WandaVision finale, and Scarlet Witch has since developed the ability to fly. Captain America: Civil Warperfecting it over the years until, at the very end of the summer, she demonstrated perfect flying skills. WandaVision. However, flight seems to be a rare ability among witches. Agatha may have been able to fly WandaVision because she was still fueled by the Darkhold, and flight may have been one of the special skills granted to her by Wanda Maximoff’s powerful chaos magic. Otherwise, most witches probably need brooms to fly.

The third trial of the Witch Road is for Agatha
Witch Road turns Agatha Harkness’s clan against her
The first two challenges of Witch Road were themed around the elements. The first test was about water and was designed specifically to test Jennifer Kale’s ability to brew a potion, and the second test was about fire and was designed to test Alice Wu-Gulliver’s willingness to overcome her family’s ancestral curse. IN Agatha all together In episode 5, the third Witch Road trial challenges Agatha Harkness, whose desire to regain power at any cost turns her clan against her. Jennifer, Alice and Lilia are trying “punish” Agatha to pass the test, but Agatha turns into a demon and runs away.
Agatha and the coven break almost every Ouija board rule.
Trying to circumvent the court’s demands, Agatha ends up proving why she can’t be trusted. Agatha impersonates the deceased Sharon Davis after the clan uses the Ujia board in an attempt to distract the witches, but she fails. She then tries to negotiate with the clan when they try to capture her, but is forced to flee. Interestingly, Agatha and the coven break almost every rule of the Ouija board: they don’t use the board together, they talk over each other, Agatha mocks the spirits, asks about death, and takes their hands off the board. Teenager ends session with “Goodbye”.

Agatha’s mother Evanora Harkness returns as a ghost
Evanora Harkness shows up to tell Agatha how much she hates her
Agatha Harkness doesn’t turn into a demonic creature on her own when her clan turns against her. Agatha’s mother Evanora Harkness, first introduced in WandaVisionthe one who owns Agatha’s body. When Evanora emerges from Agatha’s body, she tells the young witches: “My coven risked everything to kill her, and you fools willingly joined her.” When Agatha asks her mother why she hates her, Evanora replies: “You were born evil, I should have killed you the moment you left my body.” If this is true, it means Agatha was already evil before the Darkhold corrupted her.
What Evanora Harkness wanted to do with Agatha remains a mystery.
Rio Vidal knows more about Evanora Harkness than the rest of the clan, as he understands that Evanora returned because she has unfinished business with Agatha. However, Rio opposes the idea of leaving Agatha to die with her mother’s ghost. Whatever Evanora Harkness wants to do to Agatha remains a mystery as Alice intervenes, casting a spell on Agatha and Evanora, causing Evanora to disappear. Unfortunately, this approach ends tragically for Alice.

Agatha Harkness absorbs Alice Wu-Gulliver’s magic and kills her
Agatha regains some of her abilities by absorbing Alice’s magic and life force
Against all odds, Alice Wu-Gulliver’s sudden decision to try to cast a spell on Evanora’s possessed Agatha works, and Evanora’s spirit disappears after being forced out of Agatha’s body. However, Agatha instinctively takes advantage of this to absorb Alice’s magic. Just like Evanora and her clan, Alice Wu-Gulliver is unable to break her own spell and her body slowly decays as Agatha drains the magic from her.
Unfortunately, Alice Wu-Gulliver falls to the ground dead and there is nothing the clan can do to revive her. Even Jennifer Kale’s panacea for Agatha all together The ending of the second episode may have any effect on Alice’s body at this point. With Alice irrevocably killed, the coven must continue their journey along the Witch Road without one of their members. To make matters worse, the clan doesn’t have the opportunity to bury Alice like they did with Sharon Davis at the end of episode two.

Nicholas Scratch communicates with a teenager through an ujia board
Nicholas Scratch calls Agatha the same as Wanda’s children.
While Agatha absorbs Alice’s magic, Tin tries to find a way to stop Agatha from killing Alice. He examines Ujia’s board and notices that the name Nicholas Scratch is written on it. As soon as Tin shouts out Nicholas’s name to Agatha, she stops absorbing Alice’s magic. and hears the voice of his son saying: “Mom, stop it”. The teenager fails to save Alice, but begins to piece together what Agatha’s son means to her.
Nicholas Scratch’s attempt to contact Agatha through a Ouija board officially debunks the theory that Nicholas was Tin’s secret identity, first suggested by Rio Vidal’s confession to Agatha at the end Agatha all together episode 4. At this point, nothing more is confirmed about the fate of Nicholas Scratch, although it appears that he died some time ago – possibly becoming a victim of Agatha in her quest to gain more power.

Agatha suggests that the teenager is the son of the Scarlet Witch
Agatha and the teenager may have discovered the teenager’s true identity and mother.
After Alice Wu-Gulliver’s death, Tin confronts Agatha and tells her that he does not wish to kill people for magical power. Instead of being upset by Tin’s words or regretting killing Alice, Agatha smiles and teases Tin, telling him: “Are you sure? You look so much like your mother.” It appears that Rio’s revelation that Tin is not Nicholas Scratch has left Agatha with one final contender for Tin’s true identity, and the third trial has confirmed it to her: Billy Maximoff, son of Wanda Maximoff.
Agatha was probably offended that she was reunited with the resurrected Billy Maximoff instead of her son.
In the comics, Scarlet Witch’s son Billy Maximoff is a magical Wiccan superhero who transforms into Billy Caplan after his original self is absorbed by Mephisto. Agatha Harkness plays a role in the death of the original Billy, as she erases Wanda’s memories of Billy’s existence to help her move on. In the MCU, Agatha is likely resentful that she was reunited with the resurrected Billy Maximoff instead of her son – a twist of fate that may only make Agatha hate the Scarlet Witch even more.

A teenager’s magical powers awaken
The teenager uses his magic to attack Agatha, Lilia and Jennifer by mind control
Agatha’s suggestion that Tin is like his mother seems to help him realize his true identity. As soon as Agatha turns around, Lilia Caldera and Jennifer Kale grab her and throw her into a puddle of quicksand. Both Lilia and Jennifer have bright blue eyes, the same color as the Sprouting Energy spell on Tin’s hands. As Tin flaps her arms, Lilia and Jennifer are thrown into the quicksand and their eyes turn normal as they struggle to get out. In particular, A blue headdress appears on Tin’s forehead, similar to the red crown of Wanda Maximoff’s Scarlet Witch..

In the source material, Billy Kaplan, aka Wiccan, has a wide range of magical abilities, just like his mother. These abilities include energy blasts, elemental manipulation, energy constructs, telepathy, telekinesis, and mind control. In the comics, Wiccan also wears a headdress, although it is silver and very different from the Scarlet Witch’s headdress. Teenage headdress in Agatha all together The ending of Episode 5 is very similar to Scarlet Witch’s ending, suggesting that Tin is as special a magician as Scarlet Witch herself.
