Andrei and Libby Made a Shocking Move After He Got U.S. Citizenship (And 7 More Dramatic Facts About the Controversial Couple)

90 Day Fiance stars Andrei Castravet and Libby Potthast Castravet recently ventured beyond American borders, visiting their home country of Moldova, and it’s time to discuss their trip, plus some other memorable moments. The pair are always controversial, thanks to Andrei’s obnoxious personality and sense of entitlement. However, Libby can also be a bit spoiled. She depends too much on her family, when she would be better off alone. The drama between Andrei and the Potthasts is the stuff of legend, fueling plenty of exciting on-screen action.

Node 90 Day Fiance franchise, Andrei and Libby are probably considered one of the happy couples because they are still together and seem to love each other. However, for both of them, the process of building a stable life as a couple has been difficult. Libby connected with Andrei online before meeting him in person. She planned to visit Dublin, where Andrei was staying, and as soon as she met him, she was enchanted by the cheeky Eastern European. Andrei’s boorish manner didn’t seem to offend her – in fact, she was madly in love with the aspiring alpha male.

Andrei and Libby are visiting Andrei’s homeland

They are having fun in Moldova

Andrei Castravet Elizabeth Potthast 90 Day Fiancé Happily Ever After Instagram Story with Kids in Moldova

Elizabeth (Libby) recently posted an Instagram story about her trip to Moldova and it looks like she’s having a great time there. Andrei and his children (they have two) joined the tour. See them enjoying the nation in the screenshot shown above, via Libby’s Instagram. People who followed the couple on screen probably remember their disastrous wedding in Moldova. Andrei demanded the best of everything and expected Libby’s father, Chuck Potthast, to foot the bill.

The lavish nuptials were full of drama, with Chuck’s son Charlie Potthast getting drunk and behaving badly. He resents Andrei for using his father and just because he is Andrei. There is something about the Moldovan man that is disgusting. Andrei never learned basic manners or disregarded what he learned. He just grabs what he wants, never considering other people’s feelings. He is a taker.

Now that the couple appears more financially stable on their own, with a little help from Libby’s family, they are flying high. A trip to Moldova was probably something Andrei dreamed of, as he would not be able to travel freely until he obtained American citizenship. He was very worried about being deported. If he left the US before obtaining citizenship, he may be denied entry to America upon his return.

Andrei told Libby to “listen twice”

He’s such a rude guy

On screen, Andrei treated his wife as if she were subhuman. He loves her in his own way, but sometimes his impatience gets the better of him. He ends up attacking, without stopping to think before speaking. When he told Libby to:

listen double

it was a new low. She was called names, degraded and bossed around. Libby sometimes argues with Andrei, but she doesn’t give it her best shot. She is the shyest, although no one can say that Libby lacks spirit. Spoiled by her loving father, it took her some time to grow up. Now, she seems more independent. However, it’s probably safe to say that Andrei sometimes mistreats her. Apparently, she sees the good in him, believing he is not a bad man.

The two stay together, always trying to get more money, and expand their fame through repeated appearances in franchises and online promotions. They’re not the nicest couple, but maybe they’re not the worst couple either. They both have problems, but they try to solve the problems together.

Andrei and Chuck worked out at a family gathering

They are too similar to be friends

Node Entertainment tonight In the YouTube clip shown above, the Potthast family tries to have a nice meal together, but Andrei and Charlie get involved near the pool. Although this drama is exaggerated and can be funny, Andrei’s temper is explosive. At the slightest provocation, he will erupt like a volcano. Any offense can anger him – man has not learned how to manage his anger and hatred. Those nearby when he loses control need to duck and take cover.

Andrei seems a little calmer now, but in reality, a leopard doesn’t change its spots. The man who despised Libby’s family in a million ways will always wear the black hat. He will always be greedy. He will always put other people down. His dog-eat-dog attitude is, without a doubt, the ugliest aspect of his personality. Libby wants things too, even from her father, but her personality isn’t as off-putting. She has more social tact than the rude and sometimes violent Moldovan man.

Second baby announcement ruffled some feathers

They didn’t tell their families beforehand

90 Day Fiancé stars Libby Potthast and Andrei Castravet with her making a face and him smiling

Andrei, now 38, and Libby, currently 33, welcomed their second son, Winston Leo, on October 4, 2022. Before his arrival, they announced Libby’s pregnancy on-screen, making -a surprise, even for your nearest and dearest. One could argue that they should have told their families privately first. It seemed like another way of doing things for them, and excluding the Potthasts, who had done so much for both of them.

Perhaps the surprise announcement was Andrei’s way of irritating his in-laws. Maybe Libby wanted to enjoy the spotlight without her relatives in the mix. Maybe none of the damage was intentional, but the stunt ended up falling a little flat. It was quite noticeable that they didn’t consider his family before telling the world about his imminent arrival.

Libby wanted to record children’s songs

This was a peculiar career change

Libby is a reality TV star who decided to branch out with a unique and creative side hustle – recording children’s songs. In the clip shown above, via 90 Day Fiance on Facebook. Libby sang “Mary Had A Little Lamb,” really putting her heart into it. Although her performance wasn’t bad, her plan to sing children’s songs professionally was certainly eccentric. Looks like Libby got tired of working for her father. Chuck was once portrayed as a shady businessman thanks to his allegedly sketchy property management tactics.

Chuck’s company has received complaints – it has been criticized on the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and other sites. However, many companies did. They will go to BBB or similar watchdog sites to vent when they have bad experiences. Therefore, negative reviews typically outnumber positive ones. That being said, it seems like people were very disappointed with Chuck’s company.

According to DistractChuck has had problems with the law. He missed child support payments totaling over 17 grand. So this family gets its fair share of negative publicity. However, as Libby’s endearing taste in nursery rhymes shows, a Potthast can have a softer side, even if it’s quirky enough to raise eyebrows.

Andrei’s initial departure from Moldova shrouded in mystery

Did dark forces drive you out of the country?

Andreywho is happy with his family in America, as seen above, he seemed to have fled Moldova because dark forces wanted to punish him for trying to be a good police officer. Yes, in the past, Andrei was a police officer. He strongly implied that police corruption was the reason he left the country in such a hurry.

Of course, some of these spy intrigues could be embellished.

Andrei hasn’t always been honorable in terms of how he treats other people, so the idea that he would defy his superiors to stay on the right side of the law is actually a little hard to swallow. No one says he’s a criminal, but maybe he’s not telling the whole truth about leaving the country. He simply went back there, adding weight to the theory that he doesn’t actually fear for his life once he enters Moldova. In fact, he was running around the country, which the crooked cops of his past might consider a provocation.
