All Rarity Locations and How to Get Them

In Slitterheadplayers play as Hyoki, a being without physical form. As Hyoki, players must locate monsters disguised as humans, known as “Slitterheads”..“To do this, players will possess and control different human hosts and use their blood and life force as a weapon against Slitterheads. There are also missions that players will need to complete to unlock more SlitterheadIt’s a bloody and bizarre story.

Some missions are locked Slitterheadof recruitable characters known as “Rarities.“Rarities are unique characters with unique powers and weapons, and by unlocking and owning them, players can obtain new powers and quests. Some Rarities are easy to find, others not so much, but they are all important to advance Slitterhead’s history.

How to get all rarities

There are eight rarities to unlock

There is eight rarities discover in Slitterhead, which happens to be a game made by silent Hill former students. Some are exclusive to specific days and locations, while others are unlocked simply by playing the story. Below, you’ll find out how and where to find the rarities in this horror video game.

Julee is unlocked during the prologue

Julee is the first rarity, unlocked simply by playing the prologue. Julee is different from other common, unnamed characters you can own. Although unnamed characters give access to blood as a weapon, Julee has powerful blood claws which you can use in battle. She also comes with better stats and some unique abilities. This is where Julee nicknames Hyoki “Night Owl.

Julee is a solid first rarity with great abilities. One of your skills is Relive it allwhich allows you to heal all nearby NPCs. She will also heal. This skill can be useful, especially during difficult battles. This and her blood claws make Julee a great combative and supportive Rarity.

Alex and Anita are unlocked during days 3 and 1

While Hyoki and Julee investigate the Slitterhead Epidemic, they witness the death of two other rarities: Anitta and Alex. Fortunately, not all hope is lost for these two Rarities as a new power is unlocked. Hyoki and Julee can now time travel.

Hyoki and Julee travel back in time to save Anita and Alex. To save them, you will have to complete two different missions. The first mission is a Day 1 mission called “Black Return,” where you will save Alex. Then you will go to the Day 3 mission, “Missing Girl RE (2nd Loop),” in which you will save Anita.

Since you’ve already witnessed the deaths of these two characters, you should know where to find them. This means you can avoid going through all the shenanigans from the previous mission where you met them. Saving them will unlock them as their new rarities.

Unlocking Alex gives you the Blood Well, Time Bomb, and Bloody Blast abilities. Blood Well creates a gravitational field full of blood, Time Bomb places an explosive device on an enemy, and Bloody Blast allows Alex to use a shotgun and release a hail of blood bullets. Anita grants you the Devil’s Scent and Mind Hack abilities. Devil’s Scent allows you to summon a multitude of civilians, while Mind Hack controls them and forces them to fight on your behalf.

Edo is unlocked on day 1

On Day 1, you will have a quest called “Lurking Parasite RE (2nd Loop)”, where you will need to investigate the main street, the roof and the alley. Investigating the main street will lead you to two townspeople. You will learn about a the homeless man’s dog hanging around nearby. Following the clue will lead you to the Fish and Eggs Restaurant, where you will find the dog near an alley that has been blocked off.

Use Hyoki’s ability to own the dogand then the dog’s ability to follow the scent. The dog’s nose will lead you to an injured person – Edo, your next Rarity. Possess it to unlock Edo. Edo will be useful as a close-range fighter. He can do a lot of damage, as his abilities grant greater attack power. He can also dodge and dodge attacks quite easily.

Tri is unlocked on day 2

During the “Hidden Cave RE (2nd Loop)” quest, you will hear about someone being held captive above the chapel. Go to the third floor and sneak among the praying people. Approach the balcony and fly through the open window while in possession mode. Here you will find Tri with a Slitterhead. Own Tri and use her abilities to defeat Slitterhead, thus unlocking another Rarity.

Tri’s ability is Sentry Thorns, which creates bush-like objects. These bushes will automatically attack enemies. Tri also has the ability Bloody Knuckles, which makes enemies bleed. Another ability, Crimson Chains, allows Tri to bind to an enemy, reducing the enemy’s movement speed.

Doni is unlocked on day 2

Now it’s time to find and unlock Doni. Doni is unlocked during Day 2, through “Sleepless zone RE (2nd loop)“search. Then, return to the mission as Edo and exit the building through the roof. Ignore the nearby neighbors and head to the door on the left. Choose the lock.

Enter possession mode and fly to the ventilation shaft inside the room. You’ll eventually reach an opening that leads to an injured Doni. Possess him, fight Slitterhead and unlock Doni.

Doni’s abilities include Curse Resist, which discards all negative effects; Fatal Lance, which uses blood to form a spear; and Revenge Guard, which stacks damage and unleashes a shockwave.

Blake is unlocked through story progression

There are a few ways to unlock the Rarity known as Blake. Some players were able to unlock it by completing the “Oppressive Force RE (2nd Loop)” Mission, while others unlocked it during the “Lurking Parasite RE (2nd Loop)” mission. Although it is not known exactly how Blake is unlocked, it is suspected that he is unlocked after completing a certain number of missions.

Blake’s abilities include Bloody Shot, which uses blood to form a machine gun to attack enemies. Another of his abilities is Bloody Mine, which turns pools of blood into landmines that detonate when stepped on. His ultimate ability is Bloody Gamble, which forms a weapon made of blood that will attack enemies. Bloody Gamble has a chance to fail and damage you, so use it carefully.

Betty is unlocked by completing all mysterious old lady encounters

There is one last rarity for you to unlock, and her name is Betty. It is the longest rarity to unlock, as you will need to complete all six encounters of the mysterious old lady. What appears to be a sweet old lady is actually a formidable ally who can destroy Slitterheads in just a few moments. His weapon of choice is his blood cane.

Betty’s dates last three days. On Day 1, you will need to continue through the “Lurking Parasite RE (2nd Loop)” and “Oppressive Force RE (2nd Loop)” missions, encountering the Mysterious Old Woman during each mission. On day 2, you will meet her again during the “Hidden Cave RE (2nd Loop)” and “Sleepless zone RE (2nd loop)” missions. Then, on Day 3, continue through the “Insidious Sucker RE (2nd Loop)” and “Missing Girl RE (2nd Loop)” missions, encountering the Mysterious Old Woman along the way. After finding her during each mission, you will unlock her final Rarity, Betty.

As her final Rarity, Betty has some impressive abilities. First, she can use Indomitable to increase her strength and defenses and become temporarily invulnerable. Second is her Diabolic ability, which deals severe damage to any Slitterheads that get close to her. Her last ability is Lunatic, where Betty mutters incantations that cause nearby Slitterheads to form murderous thoughts against each other.

With all eight rarities unlocked on your Slitterhead journey, you can continue fighting as Hyoki and the Rarities against the Slitterhead epidemic. Each Rarity contributes new abilities, quests, and stories. Now that you’ve unlocked all the Rarities, your fight should be much easier, but it will still pose many challenges as you try to stop the Slitterheads from taking over.
