Star Wars Rebels Introduces viewers to several new Force users, each with a different fate at the end of the series. Because the story was set after the Jedi purge in the Star Wars Prequel trilogy, there were far fewer Force users in this era. The team behind Star Wars Rebels Seeking to recover the magic of the original Star Wars trilogy, with the hero learning about the larger galaxy and how the Force works. The Grand Inquisitor
First appearance: Star Wars Rebels Season 1, Episode 1 “Ignite Rebellion”
Known simply as “The Inquisitor” in season 1, the Grand Inquisitor originally appeared at the end of the Star Wars Rebels premiere, but later episodes added a scene between him and Darth Vader at the beginning. As the leader of the other Inquisitors, The Grand Inquisitor was charged with hunting down Jedi survivors And any Force-sensitive children who might grow up to oppose the Empire. When Agent Kallus discovered that the Ghost The crew was led by a Jedi, he contacted the Grand Inquisitor, who made it his mission to hunt down the rebels.
The Grand Inquisitor was eventually defeated in a lightsaber duel with Kanan Jarrus, allowing himself to fall to his death rather than face Darth Vader’s wrath. in Star Wars Rebels Season 2, Kanan learned in a vision that The Grand Inquisitor was once a Jedi Temple GuardAnd Dave Filoni confirmed that he was one of the guards who arrested Barris Off in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The Marvel Star Wars Comics reveal that Vader somehow trapped the Grand Inquisitor’s spirit, forcing him to guard an abandoned Jedi outpost.

Ezra Bridger
First appearance: Star Wars Rebels Season 1, Episode 1 “Ignite Rebellion”
Ezra Bridger was the main protagonist of Star Wars RebelsGrowing from a street rat to a powerful Jedi. After his parents were arrested for opposing the Empire, Ezra had to travel by himself until he met the Empire. Ghost crew and joined them as a rebel. Kanan Jarrus realized that Ezra was Force-sensitive and agreed to train him as a Jedi, although the road was long and challenging for both of them. Ezra fought alongside the Rebellion for years and earned the respect of many friends and allies, all of whom agreed to help liberate his home planet of Lothal from the Empire.
During the Battle of Lothal, Ezra summoned the Purgil, a group of space whales that could travel through hyperspace. To stop Grand Admiral Thrawn and remove him as a threat, Ezra allowed himself to disappear into the far reaches of space, and his colleagues searched for him for years. in Ahsoka Season 1, they found him in another galaxy on a planet called Peridea, where he carved out a peaceful existence with the locals. Ezra is able to make it back to his galaxy and reunites with Hera Syndulla, and only time will tell what adventure awaits him next.

Cannon Jarrus
First appearance: Star Wars Rebels Season 1, Episode 1 “Ignite Rebellion”
Kanan Jarrus was born Caleb Doom and raised as a JediServed as the Padawan of Jedi Master Depa Bilaba. When Order 66 happened, Caleb wanted to protect his master but was ordered to run, and the guilt would haunt him for years. He took the name Kanan Jarrus and went into hiding, eventually meeting Hera Syndulla. Together, they gathered a crew and formed their own rebel cell, helping fight the Empire wherever they could.
The Ghost Crew later met Ezra Bridger while pulling a heist on Lothal, and Kanan took him on as his Padawan. Although the two wrestled at first, they became inseparable as master and apprentice, and the crew became Ezra’s family. Their relationship was tested again when Kanan was blinded by Darth Maul on Malachor, but Kanan found his way back and became a stronger Jedi than before. Kanan sacrificed himself to save his friends from an explosionAnd Hera later gave birth to their son, Jacen Syndulla.

Sabine Ren
First appearance: Star Wars Rebels Season 1, Episode 1 “Ignite Rebellion”
Sabine Wren was a Mandalorian who left the Imperial Academy Yet the weapons she helped create were used on her own people. Eventually she meets Kanan Jarrus and Hera Syndulla, joining their crew and coming to see them as her new family. When the Ghost Crew discovered the Darksaber, an ancient Mandalorian lightsaber that could unite her people, Sabine trained with Kanan to wield the blade properly. She helped lead the Mandalorians in rebellion against the Empire, and handed the Darksaber to Bo-Katan Kryse, who many considered the rightful ruler of Mandalore.
Although Sabine is never portrayed as a Force user in Star Wars RebelsKanan started her on the learning path. This aspect of Sabine’s character was explored in Ahsoka Season 1, which revealed that she became Ahsoka Tano’s Padawan after the events of the series. The two fell out around the time Sabine’s people were measured by the Empire, but reunited to find Ezra Bridger. Sabine was finally able to use the Force on PerideaBut while Ezra escaped and returned home, she and Ahsoka met in another galaxy.

Fifth brother
First appearance: Star Wars Rebels Season 2, Episode 4 “Relics of the Old Republic”
After the Grand Inquisitor’s death at the end of Star Wars Rebels Season 1, more Inquisitors are tasked with hunting down the Ghost crew. The first introduced was the fifth brother, a former Jedi from the planet Artemisium. He pursued these Ghost Crew relentlessly, engaging Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, and even Ahsoka Tano in lightsaber duels on multiple occasions. However, he was ultimately no match for Maul, dying at his hand on Malachor in the Star Wars Rebels Season 2 finale.
The fifth brother continued to appear in several stories Set before the events of Star Wars Rebels. He made his live-action debut alongside Obi-Wan KenobiWhere he competed with the Third Sister for Darth Vader’s favor after the Grand Inquisitor was supposedly killed. He also appeared in the Marvel Darth Vader comics, Star Wars: Inquisitor – Rise of the Red Blade By Deilah S. Dawson, Star Wars: Jedi – Battle Scars by Sam Maggs, and most recently the comic series Star Wars: Inquisitors By Rodney Barnes and Ramon Rosanas.

Seventh sister
First appearance: Star Wars Rebels Season 2, Episode 5 “Always Two There Are”
The seventh sister is introduced right after the fifth brother in the appropriately titled season 2 episode “Always Two There Are.” What separated her from other inquisitors was the droids she carried, which could be used to spy on her enemies or aid her in battle. Because the fifth brother was stricter and more direct, The seventh sister loves to tease and explore her prey.
Like the fifth brother, however, she was no match for Malachor. Maul held her in place with the force and ordered Ezra Bridger to knock her down, but when Ezra could not do it, Maul killed her himself. The seventh sister also appeared in stories such as the Marvel Darth Vader comics, Star Wars: Inquisitor – Rise of the Red Blade by Delilah Dawson, and Star Wars: Inquisitors By Rodney Barnes and Ramon Rosanas.

Eighth brother
First appearance: Star Wars Rebels Season 2, Episode 21 “Twilight of the Apprentice: Part 1”
Of all Force users introduced in Star Wars Rebels, The eighth brother has the least amount of screen time. He only appeared in the season 2 finale, after tracking Maul to Malachor but was surprised to find three Jedi had also arrived. He and the other Inquisitors engaged the Jedi and Maul but were defeated, so the Eighth Brother attempted to fly away by using his spinning lightsaber as a propeller. Unfortunately, his helper was injured, and he fell to his death from the top of the temple.

Bendu
First appearance: Star Wars Rebels Season 3, Episode 1 “Steps Into Shadows: Part One”
While all the other Force users in Star Wars Rebels Committed to the light or dark side, the Bendu proclaimed that he was the one in the middle. While he helped Kanan Jarrus a bit when he came seeking advice, Bendu confirmed that he did not participate in the conflict. He became enraged when the Empire brought war to his planet, but he blames the rebels as well. He unleashed his full power to drive everyone off the planet, and after he was shot down, he either became one with the force or disappeared somewhere else.
