Billy Butcher is one of the most dangerous characters in The boys universe, as proven by him killing six different Sues over the show’s four seasons. Billy Butcher has made it his life’s goal to kill as many Sues as possible, with his first introduction to the show revolving around him and the other core members of The boys Ensemble throw figuring out the best way to kill translucent. At the time of The boys By season 4’s end, Butcher had managed to rack up a pretty impressive kill count.
The boys Season 4 has come and gone, with the highly anticipated continuation of the show setting the stage for an epic final season. The boys Season 4 will lead directly into The boys The climactic story of Season 5, with the titular team reckoning with Butcher’s new status as a dark-sided supe as Homelander gets closer to being President of the United States of America. Although Butcher was unable to kill his main target, Homelander, he left a pretty major path of carnage behind him during his journey in The boys.

The First Support That Billy Butcher Kills in Amazon Prime Video The boys is morePlayed by Haley Joel Osment. The telepathic soup got its start as a child star, landing him the lead role in the TV show The Mesmerizer. Although Mesmer was once one of Vought’s most exciting rising stars, his misuse of his telepathic abilities led to Vought cutting ties with him, and him to fall out of the spotlight. His later criminal activities caused him to fall even further, and put Mesmer in a pretty tragic place until he enters the boys’ lives.
Butcher lures Mesmer into a bathroom and bashes his head into a sink several times, killing the psychic Sue for good…
in The boys Season 1, the titular team finds Mesmer while signing DVDs of The MesmerizerBlackmailing him and explaining that he can get time with his daughter if he agrees to perform a psychic reading on the then unknown Super Kimiko. Mesmer gives the boys the information they wanted, and they split up. However, Messmer sees the meeting as an opportunity, and, upon learning of the Boys’ desire to kill Homelander and take down Vogt, Messmer decides to betray Billy Butcher and the team.
Mesmer goes to Vogt and reveals information about the Boys to members of the SevenHoping that this will put him back in Vogt’s favor. The Seven uses this information to track down the boys and their family members, with their identities now on Vogt’s radar. Because of this, Butcher hangs Mesmer, and explains that he placed a tracker on the supe at their first meeting. With revenge, Butcher lures Mesmer into a bathroom and bashes his head into a sink several times, killing the psychic soup for good.

Die in “The Bloody Doors Off”
The second soup that Billy Butcher kills in The boys It doesn’t come until season 2, and unlike the first Sue to meet her fate at the hands of the Boys leader, the Sue is unnamed. The boys Season 2, Episode 6, “The Bloody Doors Off” sees Starlight find her way into Stormfront’s laptop, discovering that the Nazi sup has emailed Vogt leader Stan Edgar about a mysterious facility known as the Sage Grove Center. The boys decide to investigate, with the team heading there in an attempt to discover what Vought’s intentions with the facility are.
upon arrival, Butcher and the gang secretly make their way through the centerTry to investigate Vogt’s plans. While things go well for a while, Frenchie eventually encounters Lamplighter, which sets off a disastrous chain of events. Using his powers, Lamplighter tries to blast the boys, but the boys manage to knock the ball of fire away. Instead, the flame hits the wall of a nearby cell, with the cell having one of The boys‘ Most powerful soups: Cindy. Cindy breaks out of the cell, kills a Vogt guard, and starts a riot in Sage Grove.
Cindy rips the cell doors off of each patient’s room, allowing the Sage Grove Center’s superpowered prisoners to roam free. Caught in the middle of the commotion, the boys attempt to escape the facility, but are forced to face several challenges along the way. One of these is an unnamed escapee who has the ability to shoot what appears to be psychic blasts of energy. After blasting the team and causing their van to flip, Billy Butcher shoots the patient multiple times, killing him and saving the boys.

Gunpowder
Dies in “The Only Man in Heaven”
The next Sue that Billy Butcher kills is the far-right gun-toting hero Gunpowder, with him appearing in The boys Season 3, Episode 2, “The Only Man in the Sky.” Gunpowder was the original sidekick of Solider Boy and one of the original members of Vought’s premiere 1980s superhero team, Payback. As the name implies, Gunpowder relies heavily on guns and other types of projectile weapons in order to pull off his super feats, giving him the abilities of a master marksman who rarely misses a shot. However, he is not a good enough marksman to kill Billy Butcher.
While trying to find out what really happened to Soldier Boy, the Boys decide to investigate the former members of Payback, with Billy Butcher deciding to take on Gunpowder’s case. Butcher goes to a gun show and confronts Gunpowder, asking about his history with Soldier Boy and his role in the Supe’s disappearance and subsequent cover-up. After bringing up Soldier Boy’s harassment of Gunpowder, Gunpowder attempts to kill Butcher in the parking lot. Butcher manages to escape, but this is not the last time the two meet.
Butcher decides to confront Gunpowder again, and although Gunpowder protects him, Butcher has a trick up his sleeve. As it turns out, Billy Butcher has gained superpowers from Temp V, with increased strength and laser eyes. Gunpowder realizes he’s been beaten and admits the truth about Soldier Boy to Butcher, hoping to make it out alive. however, Butcher beats Gunpowder and then uses his laser eyes to kill himPut an end to the life of Soldier Boy’s sidekick and former Payback member.

Die in “Life Among the Septic”
Although Butcher kills many humans, he does not kill another Sue again until The boys Season 4, Episode 2, “Life Among the Septics.” In this episode, the Boys decide to investigate Firecracker, a new company that Homelander and Sister Sage plan to recruit the Seven. The trail leads them to TruthConA far-right convention themed around various real-world and in-universe conspiracy theories. Although TruthCon is mostly attended by humans, the boys run into one monster they weren’t expecting to see: Splinter.
Splinter is a new super in The boys Season 4 who has the ability to split apart into multiple clones, though he rips through his clothes during the process. Splinter attended TruthCon in order to host the panel that Firecracker was speaking at, with him introducing her before Firecracker’s presentation on the conspiracies surrounding Starlight. The boys attempt to follow Splinter as he leaves the room, and while they get more information from his phone, they open the sauna to see The boys Season 4’s most disgusting scene yet.
Although the boys go to the purported meeting place of Firecracker and Sister Sage, the team soon realizes that it is a trap, with several armed clones of Splinter arriving to kill them. This leads to an all-out brawl between the two factions, with the Boys fighting Firecracker and her army of Splinter clones. While each member of the Boys gets to kill at least one clone of Splinter, Sue is not truly defeated until the original Splinter is killed. As it turns out, Butcher is the one to land the killing blow on Splinter PrimeWith it, Spalter stabs with a scrap.

Ezekiel
Dies in “Wisdom of the Ages”
The last soup that Billy Butcher killed in The boys Until now, Ezekiel, the former Super Pastor of Starlight. Ezekiel was first seen back in The boys season 1, and although he appeared sporadically and was referenced throughout the show, his final appearance occurs in The boys Season 4, Episode 4, “Wisdom of the Ages.” In the episode, Firecracker invites Ezekiel to speak at her anti-Starlight eventWith him, he stands on the stage and gives a sermon on the evils of the starnish house.
Later that night, French breaks into Firecracker’s trailer in an attempt to learn more about her. However, Ezekiel catches him in the act, ready to kill the member of the boys. Luckily, Katsev arrives in time to help him, freezing one of Ezekiel’s arms and breaking it. However, Ezekiel quickly wraps his rubber arm around Butcher, choking him unconscious and eventually killing him with his powerful, useful powers.

however, Butcher wakes up to find Ezekiel deadWith his body torn apart and his blood was all over the room. Because Butcher revealed that he took Compound V, it makes sense that Butcher’s superpowers appeared while he was unconscious and killed Ezekiel. In the fourth entry of the show, it was revealed in a big twist that The boys “Joe Kessler” is the dormant superpower inside Butcher that manifests as giant tentacles strong enough to tear soups apart, proving what happened to Ezekiel.

Victoria Neumann
Dies in “Assassination Run”
The sixth Sue that Billy Butcher kills in The boys Is Victoria Neumann. Neumann was the object of the desires of the titular group in The boys Season 4, with the team spending the majority of the story trying to find a way to kill her. This was in order to prevent a superhero with ties to Homelander and Vogt from influencing the political state of the United States, although it proved a futile venture with Homelander becoming the pseudo-president. The boys Season 5 and likely Gen V Season 2 too.
After trying bullets, acid, and killer sheep, the boys are left at a loss as to how to kill Victoria. That said, a lucky turn of events meant they didn’t have to after Victoria decided to turn against Homelander and ask Yuji and his friends for help. Meanwhile, Butcher surrendered to his dark side and the superpowers it possessed after Ryan turned against him and Mallory.

After Neumann met Hugh, Mother Milk, Francois and the rest of the boys, she thought that she and her daughter were safe. Butcher is sure that this is not the case. Now cured of his illness by “Kesler”, who simply wanted to control the body of Butcher, the protagonist/anti-hero of The boys arrived and unleashed his powers on Neumann. Just as he did with Ezekiel, Butcher used his tentacles to tear Neumann apart, setting up a dark future for The boys Season 5 as Butcher increased his kill count and, potentially, placed himself on the titular team’s hit list.
