Maxxine Didn’t have as big of an impact as the previous two movies in the trilogy, but it’s still a fun thriller with a lot of style. West is clearly having a lot of fun with his own take on the giallo horror movie while God once again delivers a stunning performance in the lead role. Another one of these The year’s most talked-about thrillers will be arriving on Max on October 25. Trap is M. Night Shyamalan’s last film and contains one of his wildest setups for a thriller. Josh Hartnett plays a father who takes his daughter to a concert for her favorite pop star. However, he soon discovers that the whole event is being used as a trap to catch a serial killer who is known to be attending the concert. The Shyamalan twist comes early in the movie with the revelation that Hartnett is the killer.

It’s a bold move that makes a ruthless serial killer the protagonist of the movie as the viewers he attempts to discover a way to escape. While the premise requires a lot of leaps in logic and suspension of disbelief, it’s largely held together by Hartnett’s terrific and committed performance, which manages to be funny, chilling and sad at the same time.
