All 10 One Piece Villains Confirmed for Netflix's Second Season

The Pirates and Marines Luffy Faced on Netflix One piece Season 1 has already made a big impression, leaving Season 2 to up the ante in the villain department. One piece The first season's villains changed the game for live-action anime adaptations. Traditionally, these productions don't have a big enough budget to make the fantasy wonders of anime seem in any way real. This applies, in particular, to larger-than-life villains with dark transformation sequences and horror-inspired costumes.

Moving forward One piece In the first season, the Straw Hat Pirates - Monkey D. Luffy, Roronoa Zoro, Nami, Usopp and Sanji - will enter the Grand Line, a critically dangerous stretch of ocean where the world's most savage pirates operate. To search for One Piece, a mysterious treasure brought about by Gol D. Roger in his execution, Monkey D. Luffy will lead his crew into terrible danger with the possibility of a great reward. In season 2, One piece the villains will be stronger than ever and many are to come.

One Piece Season 1 was based on the East Blue saga, which had a more episodic structure compared to what comes next. While One piece Season 2 will still see Luffy and his friends going from one location to another and encountering friends and enemies alike, the stories should feel more interconnected compared to the first season. For example, Luffy must meet Miss Wednesday and learn about Crocodile at the beginning of Season 2but the Baroque Works union will continue to be an obstacle during a possible third season.

Buggy the Clown

Jeff Ward

Along with Arlong, Buggy was one of the main villains of One piece season 1 and, thankfully, he is confirmed to reappear in season 2. Played by Jeff Ward, This fantastic figure can remove body parts at will and send them on search and destroy missions. Ward was the right mix of cynical and fun as Buggy, so his role as a supporting villain in the Loguetown arc is something to look forward to.

The phenomenal visual and practical effects used to create Buggy speak volumes about what viewers can expect from the villains of One piece season 2. Kaji Productions, Tomorrow Studios, and Shueisha used a blue screen to make Buggy, as well as a full double digi. A full 3D version of the actor was made and combined with images to create the effects needed to portray Buggy's bizarre powers. Buggy plays an important role in the Loguetown Arcwhich wasn't included in season 1, but will be now.

Captain Alvida

Ilia Isorelýs Paulino

Ilia Isorelýs Paulino portrayed with mastery "Iron Mace"Alvida, leader of the Alvida Pirates, in One piece season 1, and is expected to return in season 2. A rough prediction of the events of One piece the second season involves a Loguetown storyline in which Alvida and Buggy team up to defeat the Straw Hats. This makes sense, as it would tie two of the first season's main villains well before Luffy and company enter the Grand Line. Despite this, the Loguetown arc probably shouldn't take up much time in Season 2, as the season has a lot of the Alabasta saga to cover.

Node One piece anime, Alvida's Devil Fruit powers allowed her to become slippery and slide across surfaces to allow for speed, agility, and strength. This ability also allowed her to drastically change her physical appearance. Alvida's Controversial Power Could Risk Spreading Body Negativityso it's uncertain whether Netflix's live-action adaptation will pursue it. Hopefully, the show will likely approach Alvida's arc sensitively.

Lord 9

Daniel Lasker

Mr. 9 One Piece.

Daniel Lasker is brilliantly cast in Mr. 9, which premieres in One piece season 2. All set to appear in Reverse Mountain, Lasker should bring ethereal elegance to Baroque Works villain. Lasker is a key character because he befriends Nefertari Vivi during their time together at Baroque Works. This can make Nefertari Vivi seem like a villain in One piece Season 2, but the truth is much more complex.

With Vivi and other Baroque Works villains to worry about during One piece Season 2, the Straw Hat Pirates will have their work cut out for them. However, Lasker isn't playing a character with serious Devil Fruit abilities. This could make him easier to defeat and significantly easier for Netflix to adapt. However, Mr. 9's stunts and weapons demonstrate why he is a member of Baroque Works and should create some of Season 2's peak moments.

6

Miss Valentine

Jazzara Jaslyn

Miss Valentine one piece.

Miss Valentine is usually paired with Mr. One pieceboth can expect an introduction in season 2. This Scary Villain Can Change Your Mass through her Devil Fruit powers, causing her to become so heavy that she can crush opponents by sitting on them. This intriguing ability is one example of many new One piece powers that Season 2 was supposed to delve into for the first time, but could be one of the easiest to adapt.

Miss Valentine, also known as Mikita, will be one of the main antagonists of the Whiskey Peak arc and is expected to have a more supporting role in Little Garden. As such, it seems Mikita can be expected to appear halfway through Season 2leaning towards the start. Mikita's interactions with David Dastmalchian's Mr. 3 should be a major highlight of Little Garden, as both Dastmalchian and Mikita's actress, Jazzara Jaslyn, are excellent.

5

Lord 5

Camrus Johnson

Lord 5 One Piece

Camrus Johnson is set to star One piece season 2 as Mr. Mr. 5 will accompany Miss Valentine on her misadventures in the Whiskey Peak arcshowing great hostility towards the Straw Hat Pirates. While Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine can be expected to play a major role in this arc, their importance will likely be reduced for Little Garden, which is far from the anime's most popular arc.

Despite not playing a very important role in the story, Mr. 5 is a relatively powerful Devil Fruit user whose powers come from the Bomu Bomu no Mi, or Boom-Boom Fruit. This allows Mr. 5 to make any part of his body explode, which should make for some fun action sequences in One piece 2nd season. It's unclear how big of a role the low-level members of Baroque Works will play in Season 2 compared to the manga, especially since the actual Alabasta arc is being saved for Season 3.

4

Losing all Sunday

Lera Abova

Lera Abova will join the cast of One piece 2nd season as the legendary Nico Robin. This fan favorite could start life in One piece like a villainbut she has a very special future ahead of her. This makes its casting key to the series' continued success. While One piece fans have known Robin and his story for a long time, those who are discovering One piece for the first time in live-action you will know her as a villain.

Nico Robin appears near the end of the Whiskey Peak arc and would be a great focal point for One piece season 2. Given that Alabasta isn't happening yet, Crocodile is expected to have a smaller role in season 2, setting him up to take on the role of season 3's main villain. However, while Crocodile remains in the shadows, Miss All Sunday could perhaps be the main villain of season 2, considering the character's popularity and Robin's importance in the rest of the story.

3

Mr.3

David Dastmalchian

The casting of David Dastmalchian as Mr.3 is one of the most interesting things about One piece 2nd season. Dastmalchian recently shined in 2023 Late at night with the devil but he's been in a lot of great movies and shows since The Dark Knight to Dune. Dastmalchian's experience positions him to portray the dangerous, slightly pathetic, but always good-natured Mr. 3 to perfection. Mr. 3's iconic, ever-changing hairstyle is a much-anticipated facet of the One piece 2nd season.

One piece season 2 will feature Baroque Works, one of the main groups of villains to face Luffy and his team in future episodes. Mr. 3 might be one of the funniest members of Baroque Works and it's a great example of how unique One piece villains can be. One piece has always been defined by Oda's wildly original character designs, and Mr. 3 is one of the best examples of that, displaying a mafia sensibility that doesn't take itself too seriously.

2

Wapol

Rob Coletti

Monkey D. Luffy will eventually have to face the villain Wapol, who will be played by Rob Coletti in One piece 2nd season. Wapol is the main antagonist of the Drum Island arcwhich should be the final arc of season 2. The Drum Island arc is where we meet Tony Tony Chopper in live action and learn about his moving origin story.

As he appears in the Drum Island arc, Wapol will likely be introduced in the Season 2 finale, allowing him to be the season's climactic villain. Wapol is not connected to Baroque Works or anything else in the Alabasta saga, so it remains to be seen whether the Netflix show will tie his character into a larger story or not. Regardless, Netflix's live-action show has faithfully adapted Eiichiro Oda's ridiculously fantastical world before, so here's hoping Wapol's paramecia fruit transformations are as ridiculous as they should be.

1

Mr Crocodile

Joe Manganiello

Joe Manganiello will play Crocodile in One piece Season 2, bringing to life one of Eiichiro Oda's most famous villains. Also known as Mr. 0, Crocodile is the leader of Baroque Works. Crocodile is also one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea during the events of Alabasta and one of the most dangerous people alive. Season 2 will likely end by teasing Crocodile's presence, as his time to shine will be in Season 3.

As one of the toughest enemies Monkey D. Luffy will face in Season 2, Crocodile will also present an adaptation challenge for One piece. Crocodile ate the Sand Devil Fruitallowing it to turn into sand. Crocodile can manipulate sand beyond simple transformation. The "King of the Desert"can transform parts of its body into weapons made of sand and can cause aggressive storms, causing One piece season two is a tempting prospect.
