At the end of July this year, it was announced that filmmaker Michael Bay would be working on a TV and film franchise based on the phenomenon. Bay is working on the project with Adam Goodman, president of Paramount Pictures. The projects are still in negotiations, but reportedly include film and TV.

THE trailer shows fake news ad”BATHROOMS INVADE NEW YORK.” The images in this fake ad transition from standard toilets to those with the classic talking Skibidi Toilet inside. The trailer uses doctored footage of John Goodman, as a narrator discusses a war that “destroyed the planet.” The trailer also imagines that the film will be directed by Zack Snyder.

Although the trailer is intended to make it seem like Netflix is actually developing this Skibidi Toilet movie, It's important to note that none of the details are factual. Most elements of the concept trailer are complete guesses. While it would certainly appeal to some viewers to make Zack Snyder the director of one of Skibidi Toilet's projects, there has been no confirmed relationship between Snyder and Skibidi Toilet. No casting information was revealed either.
The concept trailer has some intriguing elements from the Skibidi Toilet cinematic universe, particularly the tangible dark humor. Coupled with the trailer's intentional jokes, I find this entertaining on a meta level. One of the biggest challenges that Bay's Skibidi Bathroom media franchise will face is that the original shorts contain a multitude of features borrowed from the hit video game Half-life 2. The fact that this concept trailer is a compilation of possible copyright violations is an ironic reminder of the legal issues the real-life Skibidi franchise will have if it comes to fruition. Hopefully Bay can hire a solid entertainment lawyer and eliminate any major barriers to projects.
