The real villain of Agatha all along May be secretly hiding among Agatha Harkness’ new coven of powerful witches. Marvel Studios has established a number of formidable enemies for the newest MCU Disney+ series, including Aubrey Plaza’s Rio Vidal, the evil Salem Seven, and even hinting at the much-rumored Mephisto. Although the primary antagonist of the series has not yet revealed itself, a new theory suggests that they may have already infiltrated Agatha Harkness’ new coven, and may be joining them on the Witches’ Road.
To access and survive the witches’ road, Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness and Joe Locke’s “teen” put together a new coven of witches in Agatha all along Episode 2, “Cross Sewn with Fate/Unlock Your Hidden Gate.” The coven comprises Jennifer Kale, Alice Wu-Gulliver and Lilia Calderoo, and Agatha also recruits Debra Jo Rupp’s Sharon Davis, aka. WandaVision’s Mrs. Hart, although she was not confirmed as a witch. While Sharon Davis currently seems like a simple person along for the ride on the witches’ roadShe may be hiding a game-changing secret from her newfound friends.

As the coven prepares to travel to Witches Road, Patti LuPone’s Lilia Calderu notes they need a green witch, one with a strong connection to Earth. The green witch she suggests is referred to as a “Black Heart,” Mirror Rio Vidal’s own comments about her heart, which is black and beats for Agatha. Reluctant to retrieve Vidal, Agatha instead recruits Sharon Davis, who previously went by Mrs. Hart. This fake-out may be a red herring, however, especially since a black heart means Mr. and Mrs. Hart are coming to dinner at WandaVision’s 2021 premiere.

A new theory posed by Reddit User N8CCRG suggests that Agatha Harkness did, in fact, recruit Rio Vidal into her Covid-19 Agatha all along Episode 2. Before to Agatha all along Premiere, Aubrey Plaza promises some shape-shifting fun in the series, perhaps thanks to her connection to nature and the earth. This resembles the abilities of Morgan le Fay and the Emerald Warlock from Marvel Comics, both of whom are theorized to inspire Rio Vidal. given the power, It’s possible Rio Vidal may have taken the form of Sharon Davis to infiltrate Agatha Harkness’ union.
Promotional material for Agatha all along has proven that, at some point on their journey down the witches’ road, Sharon Davis will mysteriously disappear, while Rio Vidal will join Agatha Harkness and her coven. This supports the idea that Davis is actually Rio Vidal in disguise. Fortunately, this would mean that Sharon Davis would survive the events of Agatha all alongAssuming Vidal hasn’t killed her already, this could provide a fantastic twist for the series that very few could have seen coming.
