Warning: This article contains spoilers for Agatha All Along Episode 4, “If I Can’t Reach You / Let My Song Teach You”

I am even more convinced about “Tin’s” connection to the Scarlet Witch in Agatha all along Still learning something new about his mysterious seal. The real identity of Heartstopper Star Joe Locke’s “teen” has remained a mystery since his MCU debut in Agatha all along premiere, but I am one of many who have become convinced that he is Billy Kaplan, the resurrected version of Billy Maximoff, one of the Scarlet Witch’s children. This seems even more likely to me after a revelation in Agatha all along Episode 4.

It was explained in Agatha all along Episode 3, “Through Many Miles of Tricks and Trials,” that a sigil is a spell placed on an individual with the purpose of hiding them. In “Tin’s” case, the sigil hides his identity from witch folk, censoring any personal information about him.Which piqued the interest of Agatha Harkness’ new MCU coven. I’m very intrigued by “Tin’s” sigil, even though I think I know what lies beneath it, and Agatha all along Episode 4 only increased my curiosity.

Tin can’t remember putting the sigil on himself

Tin’s sigil could have hidden his identity even from himself

Tin shows his sails in Agatha All Along Episode 3

After being injured by Alice Wu-Gulliver’s generational curse and saved by Jennifer Kale in Agatha all along Episode 4, “If I Can’t Reach You / Let My Song Teach You,” “Tin” asks Agatha Harkness about his seal. Although she denies that she put the seal on him, Agatha notes that she would not know how the sigil also works on the witch who casts it. This reminded me of a theory that said “Tin” may have placed the seal on himself, as may indeed be the case now, because he wouldn’t even remember to throw it.

If “Tin” placed the sigil on himself, he may have forgotten major pieces of his life. This could mean that he doesn’t really remember his own identity, and may have forgotten how to use the magical abilities already within him. I guess that supports the theory that “Tin” is actually Billy Kaplan, aka Wiccan, though He may not really be aware of his true identity, real purpose and connection to the Scarlet Witch and Agatha Harkness. There is clear evidence that reinforces my thoughts about “teen’s” sales.

Tin has been demonstrating significant power in Agatha all along

Tin wants the witches’ way to give him power, but he doesn’t need it

To put the sigil on himself, “Tin” would need a lot of knowledge and strength, and he already proved that he has these impressive qualities in Agatha all along. While “Tin” plays dumb about many aspects of witchcraft and the occult, his deep research and study has made him one of the most knowledgeable members of Agatha Harkness’ coven. Additionally, his notebook is filled with some extremely powerful spells, even as obscure as summoning a witch, and it looks to me like “Tin” has some untapped innate power, too.

in Agatha all along Episode 1, “Finding the Way,” “Tin” helps loosen the Scarlet Witch’s spell on Agatha Harkness. This proves an incredible amount of power in “Tin,” which makes me think that he doesn’t really need the witches’ rod to give him magical abilities, but he actually already has them. This supports my idea that he might have placed the sigil on himself, and I think I’ve also worked out exactly why he might have done that, because he certainly needs Agatha Harkness and the other witches to survive the witches way.

Tin may have placed the sigil on himself to seek help from Agatha Harkness

There is one clear reason why “Tin” would set the sail on himself. If he’s Billy Kaplan, He may have wanted to access the Witches’ Road with the goal of resurrecting his mother, the Scarlet Witch.. To do that, he needed a strong coven, and he would certainly know that Agatha Harkness had walked the path before, making her top of the list. I doubt that Agatha would have helped “Tin” if she knew his true origin and purpose, hence the sigil, and this will certainly make for some deep and emotional moments in the upcoming episodes of Agatha all along.
