Kathryn Hahn, star Agatha all togethercommented on the possibility of her character appearing in future MCU films. Looking at the list of upcoming MCU films, they admittedly don’t have much to do with the more supernatural side of the franchise. Witches from Agatha all together exist in a sort of side pocket of the universe, with only Doctor Strange connected to their magical nature. Nevertheless, Agatha all togetherThe cast now exists in the wider universe, meaning the potential for crossovers will always be there.
Interestingly, Kathryn Hahn recently commented on the possibility of Agatha appearing in future MCU films during a live taping. Happy Sad Confused podcast (via Direct). After learning that Agatha is one of the first truly educated witches in the MCU, and noting that she thinks witches are a great way to tell side stories in the franchise, Han commented on the concept of placing Agatha Harkness in another Marvel group:
“But I think… it would be a lot of fun to just add a witch to any group.”
These comments came after Khan was reminded that Agatha was even a governess to Reed Richards and Sue Storm’s son Franklin Richards, who is potentially set to appear in the series. Fantastic Four: First Steps. Obviously, Han wouldn’t mind appearing in other MCU films, primarily because it would be fun for her to play in the sandbox with other actors and characters as a witch.
Agatha all this time may not be the end for the character
As for what these comments could mean for the future of the MCU, it could mean that Agatha’s journey will continue after Agatha all together. If you believe the theory about Joe Locke’s character in Marvel that he is playing a Wiccan, then Agatha all together will have a strong connection to the wider MCU through Scarlet Witch. This could give Agatha a future beyond Agatha all togetherstory, leaving it for future performances.
Connected
Since Han comments that she likes the concept of Agatha interacting with other MCU groups, this possibility increases. After all, there are many ways Agatha could be incorporated into other MCU properties in the mentor role she often fills in Marvel Comics. So Han’s comments could have a big impact on the future of the MCU as Agatha survives her solo show and continues to appear in other projects in the Multiverse saga.
My first reaction to Kathryn Hahn’s comments about the MCU was that she was absolutely right. Besides all the other positive aspects of the show, Agatha all together It’s just creepy fun. A big factor in this is the show’s cast of characters, all of whom immediately make the MCU witches likable, funny, and likable. The characters are a joy to watch, and the main reason for this is their supernatural background as witches, including Agatha. As such, I can’t deny that Han is right when she says that adding a witch to any aspect of the MCU has a lot of potential..
There are other films about the supernatural, for example Blade or potential Doctor Strange 3 which would not only provide some entertainment, but would also logically make sense for the witch to appear…
When Han said that, I immediately started thinking about what franchises would be most interesting to have a witch or a witch-related character appear in. Of course, there is a Young Avengers MCU movie if Teen is confirmed as Billy Kaplan/Wiccan. Apart from this, there are other supernatural films such as Blade or potential Doctor Strange 3 which would not only be a lot of fun, but would also make logical sense for the witch to appear. Overall, Han is right in her thoughts and I now hope that Agatha’s continued appearances will bear fruit after Agatha all together concludes.
