Agatha absorbs her clan's power

WandaVision Episode 8, “Previously On”

Although Agatha Harkness' full MCU timeline has been told a bit out of chronological order, the first moment we saw in her life occurred in 1693, when a young Agatha was put on trial by her own clan. Evanora Harkness, Agatha's mother and leader of the Salemites, accused Agatha of stealing forbidden knowledge that was above her place and of practicing the darkest magic, betraying her clan. WandaVision episode 8, 'Previously On', began with this trial, which saw Agatha's own clan attempt to kill her, but she quickly turned the tables.

The source of Agatha Harkness' ability to absorb the energy of other magic users has not yet been revealed, but she acquired this gift before her clan put her on trial. This meant that Agatha uncontrollably absorbed her clan's magic and life energy when they fired power at her, with the same fate befalling Agatha's own mother. This was a powerful moment that proved Agatha's darkness, lack of remorse, and hunger for power.which are extremely important themes for the witch of Salem in WandaVision and Agatha all the time.

Agatha is possessed by her mother

Agatha All Along Episode 5, 'Darkest Hour/Wake Thy Power'

Centuries after Evanora Harkness' death at the hands of her daughter, she returned as a ghost in the third Witchroad trial in Agatha all the time. This really leaned towards Agatha all the time themes more focused on horror, such as Agatha was horribly possessed by her mother's ghost, with the possessed Agatha literally bending over backwards and attacking Jennifer Kale.

Evanora finally left Agatha's body and asked the coven to leave her there before continuing down the Witches' Road. Evanora claims that Agatha was "born bad", and that she should have killed her the moment she was borncontributing to one of the Agatha all the time most emotional and moving moments. This clearly had an impact on Agatha, and the tragedy of this line perhaps led to Alice trying to save Agatha when she was once again possessed, unfortunately culminating in Alice's own death when Agatha absorbed her power.

Agatha has a vision of the Darkhold

Agatha All Along Episode 3, “Through Many Miles/Of Tricks & Trials”

As part of the wine poisoned by Alewife's Revenge in the first trial on the Witch's Road, the entire clan experienced wild, vivid, and distressing hallucinations. After the series finale, it makes sense that these hallucinations were unconsciously created by Billy Maximoff. Jennifer Kale saw a man drown her when it was actually Agatha who tied her up, Alice saw her grieving mother moments after telling Billy about her, and Agatha saw the Darkhold in a crib after Jen insinuated that Agatha traded her son for the Book of the Damned.

In fact, this was not the case, as Agatha Harkness apparently acquired the Darkhold centuries after Nicholas Scratch was claimed by Death. Still, Kathryn Hahn's performance in seeing the Darkhold appear in the crib in her Alewife's Revenge hallucination was surprising. Agatha felt pure emotion and terror in that moment, which led the audience to believe that she had actually sacrificed her son for the Book of Sins, but this was later debunked.. Agatha's true history with the Darkhold remains to be seen, but it certainly includes something very dark.

Agatha fully realizes that the teenager is Billy Maximoff

Agatha All Along Episode 5, 'Darkest Hour/Wake Thy Power'

Joe Locke's "Teen" was confirmed to be Billy Maximoff's Wiccan, aka the reincarnated son of Scarlet Witch, at the end of Agatha all the time episode 5. This was a monumental development for Agatha all the timeespecially after the series finale revealed that it was Billy Maximoff's magic that created the entire world of the Witch's Road and all its trials. Agatha Harkness had a feeling this was the case from the beginning, as she was the only witch who knew the Witch's Road wasn't real.but it was a legend created by her centuries before.

The appearance of the hexagon-shaped door to the Witch's Road began Agatha Harkness's suspicions about "Teen's" true identity as Billy Maximoff.. These thoughts were added to throughout the series, culminating in episode 5, which saw Agatha finally reveal that she knew "Teen's" identity by noting how similar he is to her mother, Wanda Maximoff's Scarlet Witch. It's unclear who Nicholas Scratch's father is in the MCU, or even if he has one.

Nicholas Scratch's lakeside birth was a touching moment of humanity for Agatha Harkness. This led Agatha to six years of happiness, although she did not stop her nefarious activities of stealing power from other witches. It seemed this was to keep Death at bay, as Death returned to claim Nicholas the night the child asked his mother to stop killing his witch sisters. Agatha and Death's love was fully evident during Nicholas' birth, when Death showed remorse for having to take him away.and finally gave her “special treatment”.

Agatha takes life from death

Agatha All Along Episode 8, “Follow me, my friend/To glory in the end”

The final trial on Billy Maximoff's Witch Road saw Jennifer Kale detach and Billy find a new body for his brother's soul, with Jen and Billy leaving Witch Road. This leaves Agatha Harkness completely alone to complete the trial in the morgue-like basement. She uses a dandelion seed contained in the brooch containing Nicholas Scratch's hair locket, along with one of her own tears, to grow a plant in the clean room.. "Out of death, life" it's such a beautiful sentiment that sees Agatha finally address her son's death.

This moment was the calm before the storm, as Agatha Harkness grew her dandelion seconds before exiting the Witch's Road and fighting Death alongside Billy Maximoff's Wiccan in their Westview home. This addressed the death of Nicholas Scratch, while also proving that Agatha saw a reflection of her own son in Billy Maximoff and, to an extent, in Tommy Maximoff, who found a new home in the body of a drowned bullying victim. This informed Agatha's subsequent sacrifice and return in Agatha all the time end.

4

Agatha All Along Episode 2, “Circle Sewn with Fate/Unlock Thy Hidden Gate”

His shock at appearing at the door of the Witch Road was incredible, and that made his remarkable singing worth something.

Agatha all the time The cast is made up of many incredible vocalists and actors, including Broadway and West End star Patti LuPone. This made the version of episode 2 of “The Ballad of the Witches' Road” a goosebump-inducing moment. The song was repeated in different forms throughout the series, most notably when the coven sings Lorna Wu's version in episode 4 and when Agatha sings the Ballad with other covens in episode 9.. Each time has been powerful, but the song's debut in episode 2 will go down in history as one of the MCU's most memorable musical moments.

Agatha All Along Episode 8, “Follow me, my friend/To glory in the end”

The death of Agatha Harkness in Agatha all the time episode 8 was beautifully done. Not only did this produce the MCU's first lesbian kiss, which is a moment that will be remembered for years to come, but it was also a tender and heartfelt moment, especially when observing the emotional response of Death himself. Death shed tears for Agatha Harkness before turning Agatha's corpse into a vibrant bed of flowers. 2

Agatha returns as a ghost

Agatha All Along Episode 9, “Maiden Mother Crone”

Fortunately, Agatha Harkness' death didn't mark the end of her MCU story, as she returned in Agatha all the time finale like a ghostly apparition. Agatha spent most of her Marvel Comics history as a ghostly mentor to Wanda Maximoff's Scarlet Witch.so it was fantastic to see her take on her spiritual form in the MCU. This made perfect sense, as Agatha is a Spiritual Witch and asked Death not to show her face to Agatha after her death, and the reveal of Agatha's return as a ghost was a brilliant moment.

Agatha reveals herself to the sound of Agatha all the time

WandaVision Episode 7, “Breaking the Fourth Wall”

Kathryn Hahn spent most of WandaVision portraying nosy neighbor Agnes O'Connor, playing alongside the sitcom-style world of Wanda Maximoff in Westview Hex. However, WandaVision Episode 7 saw Agnes finally reveal herself to be the witch Agatha Harknessand this led to the sometimes satirical series delivering the first musical moment for Agatha, as she revealed her actions throughout the series to the tune of "Agatha All Along." This song gave the title of the entire Agatha Harkness spinoff series and confirmed that it really was Agatha all along.

Agatha Harkness avoided falling under Scarlet Witch's spell in WandaVisionallowing her to remain as Agatha while playing as Agnes. She mind-controlled Evan Peters' Ralph Bohner to infiltrate the Maximoff family as a fake Pietro Maximoff, aka Quicksilver, who also took Teyonah Parris' Monica Rambeau hostage and killed their dog Sparky, all of which is revealed in "Agatha All Along" song. This Agatha Harkness moment is one of the funniest in the entire MCUso it was great to see the witch's song continue on Agatha all the time.
