Batman: Dark Age Provides a whole new take on Batman’s origins, following Bruce Wayne’s journey through real time after his parents were killed in 1957. The alternate continuity sees Wayne join an elite black ops squad in Vietnam led by Ra’s Al Ghul as part of his training . Bruce eventually leaves the squad when he finds that Ra’s deadly methods are not to his liking, taking what he has learned and instead becoming the Batman to fight crime and corruption in his own city. It was eventually revealed that Ra’s has been manipulating things behind the scenes in GothamAnd he comes in 1976 to take the city for himself.
