After 10 years of FNAF, this game has the most iconic characters in the series

Five Nights at Freddy's is a series built on iconic characters. The indie horror game landscape changed forever with the release of the first game in 2014, featuring Bonnie, Chica, Foxy and Freddy Fazbear. Over the past ten years, These main characters have undergone endless changes and introduced hundreds of variants, especially in merchandise.

Although the original gang has always been the best known the most recent additions to the series have become even more beloved. The cast of Five Nights at Freddy's: security breach – Glamrock Freddy, Roxanne Wolf, Glamrock Chica, and Montgomery Gator – became instantly iconic upon release due to their stylish character designs and engaging personalities. Since then, the crew of the Security breach pretty much stripped the mantle of mascot characters away from the original set of four.

Security Breach Has FNAF's Most Iconic Characters

Hundreds of animatronics over ten years lead to the best four

From each Five Nights at Freddy's game, Security breach has the best cast of characters. Past FNAF most games simply redesigned the four main animatronics, making them shinier, dirtier, or simply adding more teeth. Some, like Sister locationintroduced new main humanoid animatronics that unfortunately didn't achieve the same popularity as Freddy and the original gang. Security breach solved this problem by redesigning two of the original four, while also introducing two new animal mascots.

The design of the new animatronics is where Security breach shines. Its sleek 1980s aesthetic hits the player with rock, big hair, and neon colors. Although this new look already makes the new characters distinct, the game also introduces a new feature in animatronics: defined personalities. Past FNAF the games tended not to reveal much personality in their animatronics, other than the burning desire to murder security guards and the general evil of Springtrap and Circus Baby.

This was certainly a strong point for these games, as the goal was to make players afraid that the animatronics would try to kill them in the most direct way possible. Security breach changed this strategy with their main characters since the Pizzaplex is already full of other indistinct enemies like Endos, so the four main FNAF each of the animatronics could have more distinct personalities for players to connect with.

Glamrock Freddy and Roxanne Wolf are highlights

Personalities players connect with

Security breach allowed players to connect more with their charactersdespite these characters actively trying to kill the player, giving them personalities that include fears and ambitions. Roxanne is a vain but insecure character who lets her overconfidence and doubts get in the way. Monty wants nothing more than to be a star and will do anything to achieve that goal, including murdering another band member. Chica likes pizza, which is nothing new, but her absolute fervor for pizza makes her as funny as she is scary.

The two best animatronics in Security breach are Glamrock Freddy and Roxanne Wolf, mainly because players have a lot of time to spend with each of them during the game, and in Ruinthe game's DLC pack. Freddy is especially FNAF good character, as players are initially prepared to distrust him. After years of Freddy variants murdering security guards, it makes sense to be wary of the latest version of Freddy.

Instead, Glamrock Freddy is sincere and kind throughout the game, even if it means going against the animatronics he considers his friends. With your "well done, star"phrase, Glamrock Freddy is protective and reassuring, making him a fan-favorite character.

Roxy also becomes a fan-favorite and much more endearing character in the Ruin DLC after suffering damage and disuse following the events of Security breach. Her interactions with Cassie as she recounts Cassie's last birthday party are touching, which leads to an emotional connection for players that other animatronics lack. In short, the game does a lot with the characters, and we hope we haven't seen the last of Glamrock's cast of Five Nights at Freddy's: Security breach.
