My hero academias Deco is undoubtedly one of the most noble and selfless anime characters in recent years. Through his story, Izuku demonstrated how far he would go to save even the most heinous of villains. His heart, determination and heroic spirit have made him one of the most beloved characters of the series.
After all the wars and suffering Midoriya had to endure, he deserved a peaceful future more than most. That’s exactly what the talented artist N. (@cpasDryNa on X) has deco in an extremely moving and stunning piece of fanart. The image is a loving tribute to All Might’s disciple’s journey and the mentor role he assumes in the series finale.
Midoriya’s future looks brighter than ever in an amazing fanart
Deku can be seen enjoying a peaceful moment after all the fighting he endures
In the fan posted to social media by N., an adult version of Izuku can be seen resting on his classroom’s chalkboard. The scene, most likely taking place after his students had left UA for the day, depicts Deku smiling calmly, with his arms crossed. He seems completely at peace, with no worries weighing him down. This version of Izuku is a stark contrast to the younger version of himself sitting in front of him. The younger Deku can be seen wearing his Altera High uniform, hunched over his desk.
The banner is a reminder of The long and difficult journey Izuku had to go through during the My Hero Academia manga. The younger version of All Might’s pupil is a representation of how the story began. Despite the great feats Izuku achieved in the series, he began the story as a fat and insecure quirkless boy. It was by working hard that he became the savior of the world. All the pain, sacrifices and sufferings he had to endure led him to a peaceful future, confirmed by the calm smile his adult version displayed.
The position of the letters implies represents how Deku has evolved
Izuku fully accepted his reality
After defeating Shigaraki during the bloody and unforgiving final war, Deku was unable to continue his life as a hero. Chapter #430 of the My hero academia Manga revealed that He decided to become a teacher insteadWant to inspire a new generation like everyone else did before him. The fanart created by cpasDryNa seems to be a tribute to Deku’s maturity at the end of the series. While his younger version uses dreams as a coping mechanism to escape his suffering, the mature version welcomes his reality.
The poster beautifully represents this expansion in Izuku’s view of the world by showing both characters in completely different positions. Young Deku is hunched over his books and probably taking notes, a habit he developed in the hope of becoming a hero someday. His mature version is safeFacing his current life with a smile on his face. He is also embracing the light coming from the window as signaling that he has hope that his life will continue to be peaceful and fulfilling. Despite how divisive the ending of the series can be, seeing Deku smile and enjoy the peace must warm any fan’s heart.
The banner published by N. is a tribute to one of My hero academias most iconic characters. Not only does it encapsulate Izuku’s journey perfectly, but it also gives his character a moment of pure and well-deserved joy. An incredible illustration that fans of Deku’s adventures will undoubtedly love.

In My Hero Academia, some humans have superpowers called quirks. Izuku Midoriya, honestly, none of them. Deku has always idolized heroes as the number one hero, All Might, and since he was a child, he always wanted to be a hero. However, his lack of a quirk has always held him back, but a chance encounter with All Might after discovering a classmate in danger sets Deku on the path to becoming a true hero. My Hero Academia centers around Deku and a class of heroes-in-training at UA. The school shapes young Quirk users into future heroes through mock rescue missions, combat training and other hero-tempering tasks. With the young Deku inheriting the “one-for-all” charm, he will learn what it means to be a true hero while facing terrifying supervillains.
