Adar dies during Rings of Power season two finale and the Amazon series foreshadows his death during the very first scene of the second outing.. Rings of Power Season two begins with a flashback to the fall of Morgoth, showing how Sauron sought to take his master's place in Middle-earth - and how Adar killed him. This is probably intentional since the characters' storylines are so tied to defeating each other.
