The first teaser trailer for Happy Gilmore 2 previews Adam Sandler's return to one of his most famous roles. It was announced in May that Netflix was officially moving forward with a sequel to 1996 Happy Gilmore. The long-awaited sequel will be directed by Kyle Newacheck, who worked with Sandler in 2019 Murder mystery. The script will be written by Tim Herlihy and Sandler.
Sandler posted to Instagram on Christmas Day, sharing the extended first look and teaser of Happy Gilmore 2.
