Underrated Drama Detective Detective sees Brody's character, Abe, become involved in a case too difficult for his skills as he helps a young girl solve the murder of her friend. Abe was a child detective and was famous in his town growing up. until the tragic disappearance of his close friend. However, he gets a chance to redeem himself when Caroline tracks him down. In Caroline you can recognize Sophie Nelisse, who became famous thanks to Yellow Jackets.

The story about Detective Detective and Abe's struggle to adapt to adulthood after becoming famous as a teenager was the perfect role for Brody.
