The trailer for Accused Season 2 reveals the high-stakes story to come for the Fox crime drama, including an appearance by Suits Star Patrick J. Adams. Developed by Homeland Co-creator Alex Gansa and based on the British show of the same name, Accused is among the shows returning to Fox in just a few weeks. It’s an anthology that puts the spotlight on the defendants as they go on trial, with each episode bringing in new guest actors and focusing on a new story.
TVLine has shared the trailer for Accused season 2, Ahead of the show’s return on Tuesday, October 8, at 8 PM ET on Fox.
After these Accused Season 1 guest cast included the likes of Rachel Bilson, known for The OC And Heart of Dixie And The Americans Starring Margo Martindale, the preview highlights some of the familiar faces to come.

One actor will be reprising their role
The trailer gives special focus to Shame Star William H. Macy and Desperate housewives Alum Felicity Huffman, as the married couple will lead the season premiere “Lorraine’s Story.” It is also confirmed that Accused Season 2 will include guest turns by Gray’s Anatomy Original Justin Chambers, Orange is the New BlackS Taylor Schilling, and Law & Order: SVU Actor Danny Pino.

Adams will appear in “Marcus’ Story.” The story unfolds as a tech entrepreneur creates software that leads down a dark path when used. Adams will play Pitt, with Gray’s AnatomyS Jerrika Hinton portrays Lycia. The titular role of Marcus will be played by Nick Cannon, the actor, rapper and Measured singer Boss. Based on the trailer, Adams plays the tech creator and the episode will deal with racism.

Along with the trailer, it was also confirmed that How I Met Your Mothers Cobie Smulders will appear in Accused Season 2 as a character named Val. Smulders, also known for her role as Maria Hill in the MCU, portrays a woman who is forced to stare down the unimaginable when her ex-husband gets into an accident. Smulders’ episode of the crime drama also features Vella Lovell (Crazy ex-girlfriend, Animal control) and Dina Shihabi of Prime Video’s Jack Ryan And Netflix Archive 81. Overall, it’s a stacked return for the anthology that should lead to an exciting Season 2.
