A complete stranger achieved huge box office returns at the end of its first full week in theaters. The film, directed by Walk the lineJames Mangold follows iconic musician Bob Dylan (Timothée Chalamet) during the early years of his career in the 1960s. Complete Unknown release began on Christmas Day 2024, with an opening of $11.6 million, peaking at #6 on the charts as the second-best new release of the weekend, behind Robert Eggers' horror remake Nosferatus.
Put The Numbers, A complete stranger reached a cumulative domestic box office total of $25.68 million as of Monday, December 30. the film took less than a week to reach the top 100 highest-grossing films based on a book or factual article at the national box office. With its total on Monday, it reached No. 98 on the chart, surpassing the domestic gross of the Ridley Scott film. All the money in the world ($25.1 million) and the inspirational dog movie led by Mark Wahlberg Arthur the King ($25 million).
