That’s one of the reasons I was sure he was going to be great in my movie because I asked Marty about it and Marty said he was explained to Adam Driver, they’re in a place where the water is ice cold, it was like Japan, it was winter and Martin said, “I want you to play the scene as if you just came out of the icy cold water,” and there it was, it was scary and he just meant like A kind of sensual direction. Adam just jumped into the water, so I said, “That’s my kind of actor,” and he was like that on my film. He was a great collaborator and I loved the work he did.
