A complete stranger is no longer completely unknown because it is skyrocketing to box office success. With a budget of approximately US$60 million, the film follows Bob Dylan (Timothée Chalamet) in the early days of his career. It was directed by Loganis by James Mangold and is based on the book by Elijah Wald, Dylan goes electric. Alongside Chalamet, Edward Norton (Pete Seeger), Elle Fanning (Sylvie Russo), Scoot McNairy (Woody Guthrie) and other important figures serve as stars.

According to a report from DeadlineThe biopic is expected to become an instant hit in its opening weekend. The projection is to win a Total of US$ 11.8 million in 3 days and one Total US$23.3 million in 5 days. This would mark Searchlight's biggest opening since Disney acquired 20th Century Fox in early 2019.
