Chef Bobby Hill has loved food his entire life. From weeknights at the dinner table eating her mother’s Spa-Peggy and Meatballs, to lutefisk binges at church potlucks, to celebrations with family and friends at Luly’s Cafeteria, the food and people with who she is savored are the ingredients for her best memories. In fact, his career as a robata chef was inspired by his fondest memory of weekends spent grilling with his father.

The story of King of the Hill’s rebirth
What have the hills done?
None of creators released significant story details outside of a 15-year time jump King of the Hill. This concept opens up countless possibilities for King of the Hill revival story, showing older versions of the Hill family and their friends. Furthermore, the revival has the potential to definitively end the seriesespecially considering it’s not the only project Judge or Daniels is producing at the moment. The time jump could also be useful in explaining the absence of several notable characters like Luanne, Lucky, and Dale.
While it was originally revealed to be a 15-year time jump, Pamela Adlon’s details about Bobby’s role in the series seem to suggest it’s a bit shorter. The only character with details so far is Bobby, who will be 21 years old in the series and will work as a chef at a restaurant in Dallas. Similar flash-forward stories will likely be told, but specific details of the King of the Hill revival are being kept secret.
