Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is about to put out your fire forever, but Nintendo finally gave gamers what they were asking for by setting a release date for the paid version of the game. Following a path that most mobile games from major publishers should follow, Nintendo impressed the Pocket Camp community when it announced it was shutting down the app’s servers, but was working on a system that would allow fans to continue playing. The solution was a revamped experience that includes everything users love, but without all the microtransactions.

Fans who want to make the transition will need to shell out more than $10 for this version of the app, which may seem expensive, but it is important to note that the price will increase to $20 on January 31, 2025, so it is recommended that interested players get in early. Nintendo also revealed some additional information about what players can expect from this revised app and it all looks promising.
