This category is one of the reasons why today’s puzzle was so challenging for me, because although I know the words used to describe collectibles well, there are in fact, 5 words that make sense hereand I guessed almost every combination of them. PERFECT was the fifth word that made it quite difficult to define. Almost every time it said “one away,” letting me know that at least three of the words were correct and that there was a suitor in the mix, but I had no idea which one it was.

INTERNSHIP |
RESIDENT |
I picked this one up right away, while searching between INTERN, FELLOW and RESIDENT. I knew that there are also ATTENDANT staff in various work environments, but I wasn’t sure if that was what this category was asking for. I thought it was more about student roles in job roles. However, once I saw it was particularly about medical functions, it made a lot more sense and it turned out that my hunch was correct. If only the same had happened with the previous category.

ROMAN |
For various personal reasons, I hate Shakespeare. Not because I was forced to read it or because I couldn’t understand it, but because of my own completely reasonable opinions. I’ve been told I’m a little too dramatic, and for the record, I’ve seen a lot of your pieces live, but either way, I wasn’t happy when I saw the name of the category. I wasted too many guesses in the yellow category to finish this one anyway, so Luckily I didn’t have to spend much time thinking about it.

TIMES |
CITY |
Originally, I thought TOWN, COUNTRYMAN and ROMAN could go together. That would have been fine, since two of those words were actually paired, but I never really considered those words again. PERFECT that I had elsewhere and I looked for other “fonts” to match TIMES, but I didn’t see any. This one would be hard to spot, especially with POCKET in the mix, as I don’t think I’ve used it in this context with “square” before.
