Some even wondered if her profile was hacked and if someone was deliberately editing her photos. The truth is that Deavan herself was supposedly using an app called FaceTune on your eyes, jaw, skin, lips, etc. before sharing your photos online. Despite being an attractive woman, Deavan left no trace of herself in the person she tried to be when she edited her photos.

However, Veah is in the news for other, much stranger reasons. Veah somehow looks different in every photo and video on your Instagram feedBut still, none of these photos look like how Veah appears on TV screens.

This has even led to questions about Veah’s age and whether she is lying about being 27. The woman in her Instagram photos may look like someone in her 20s to fans, but the woman they’re watching on screen with Sunny looks much older. Veah had a difficult childhood as he was in and out of foster homes due to his parents’ addiction issues. Veah admitted this left her with anxietyand this could be why she feels so little confident in her appearance and tries to correct it through filters.

There was a time when Rebecca was called “filter queen” of 90 Day Fiance. She openly admitted to using filters during her first episode of Before 90 days. Rebecca was aware of the age difference between her and her then-boyfriend Zied Hakimi. She treated each of their video calls like a date and always prepared for the call, not forgetting to use filters when talking to Zied. It became clear that Rebecca was sending her filtered photos to Zied when he printed them on a t-shirt.

Zied had gone to the airport to pick up Rebecca wearing one of those T-shirts with her Photoshopped face on it. Rebecca confessed that she even used filters on social media. When producers contacted Carmella for her audition, they discovered that Tyray had been tricked.

Tyray was talking to a man named Christian who had somehow avoided video calling the Modesto man all those years. Tyray was sending Christian money and even your own naughty photos. He had traveled to Barbados to “Carmela” to turn him into a ghost, but Christian took a new phone and clothes from Tyray. The photos of the woman used by Christian belonged to a woman named Carmella, but she was not involved in this prank. Sweet Carmella was an adult model that Tyray also ended up meeting on the show.

Lana was talking to 10 other Davids like him who believed she was their girlfriend. Everyone warned David against “relationship” which was never real.

David even claimed to have spent probably a quarter of a million to $300,000 worth of Lana in all these years. He had hired a detective in Ukraine to hunt for Lana, but she finally met him during his fifth visit to Ukraine, and he even proposed to her at the airport. David maintained that he was not being deceived. The engagement did not come to fruition because David and Lana stopped communicating four months later. He claimed he wanted her to stop using the dating site and she refused.

When it comes to naming the franchise’s greatest catfishers in the last 15 years of the show’s existence, Sumit needs to receive an honorable mention. Sumit met Jenny Slatten on Facebook in 2012. However, at that time, he called himself Michael Jones, an identity he created for himself while working in a call centerR. Sumit and Jenny became friends on Facebook while playing, and he tricked Jenny by saying that he looked like Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, who he had as his profile picture.

“I was skeptical, like, ‘Why me?’ Why was he choosing me? Especially when he was half my age. But I just accepted it.”

Sumit and Jenny talked for a year while he pretended to be an American the entire time. Jenny was falling in love with Michael. Sumit felt guilty about the mind games he was playing with her. Possibly the biggest catfish in franchise history, Mahogany has long fooled people into believing she wasn’t even a real person! It was Ben Rathbun who introduced Mahogany as his online girlfriend, who he would meet in Peru for the first time. The mahogany had several photos online, but none of them showed his real face. She had a thick filter to hide all of her features and make her look like a doll in her photos and videos. Then there was the fact that Mahogany was actively avoiding meeting Ben on the show.

When Mahogany appeared, viewers decided that she was a producing plant and that Mahogany was never real. However, as more episodes unfolded and Ben and Mahogany even got married earlier this year, it became clear that the 90 Day Fiance the star was very real, but like Darcey and Deavan, she was afraid to show her true colors on social media because of insecurities and feelings of dissatisfaction with her own body.
