The episode where Linda is shot has one of the best Reagan family dinners in Blue Blood, while the clan organizes a dinner for Danny and Linda at the hospital. Unwilling to sit down because of their incomplete tradition, they call the couple on speaker phone so they can contribute to the conversation while they eat.
Aside from the unconventional way the Raegans have dinner, the entire episode is overall one of the best for Danny and Linda. After Linda is shot while caring for a patient, Danny rushes to the hospital, but the doctors won’t allow him to be by her side. The relief when he finds out she’s okay is one of the most touching moments and also foreshadows how Danny will deal with Linda’s situation. Blue Blood death three years later.
