Spoilers for The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3 are ahead!
Netflix The Lincoln Advocate Season 3 only includes a couple of songs in each episode, but each selection helps shape the tone and narrative. This season of the show follows Mickey Haller as he faces his biggest test yet – representing the man accused of murdering his former friend and client, Glory Days. Over the course of the season, the show lays out the true story of what really happened. Like most things in The Lincoln Lawyer, the answer is far from simple or straightforward. The show presents bits and pieces until the whole picture reveals itself.
Although the mystery itself is essential to the success of The Lincoln Lawyer, other elements besides the story also play a crucial role. Along with the cinematography and action, one of the most important elements is the music. Composer David Buckley’s score helps speed up and slow down the pacing, adding to the dramatic tension. In addition, the songs on the soundtrack, although few in number, have a strong influence on the scenes. Ultimately, these two elements help shape expectations and the tone for the legal drama.
