Pokémon GO Was going all in on the holiday season like The mobile behemoth announces the perfect gift for fans. As the video game industry has grown, so has the demand for gaming-related gifts, especially for live-service games that have become a hobby in themselves. Pokémon GO Has long sported an in-game store filled with additional items and goodies for enthusiasts to purchase but this new product makes the process much simpler and more accessible than ever before.
For Niantic, Pokémon GO has partnered with Walmart to introduce physical Pokémon GO Gift cards that can be purchased from Walmart retail locations around the United States, Walmart.com, and the Walmart App; The gift cards will be available on October 20. Those who buy a gift card can load a certain amount of money on it which can be used to buy things in it Pokémon GO Shop. All Walmart Supercenters will also gain access to more PokéStops and Gyms To provide the community with even more opportunities to catch their favorite pocket monster.
Gift cards are not too common these days
Make these a bit of a novelty
When it comes to the amount of money you can attach to a Pokémon GO Gift card, there are four options available. $10 equates to 1,250 Pokécoins, $25 is 3,300 Pokécoins, $50 rewards 7,000 Pokécoins, and A total of $100 grants the redeemer a whopping 15,000 Pokecoins. Based on sheer numbers alone, it’s clear that the best value for money is the $100 option, but given how expensive that is for many people, you have to imagine that most fans would likely opt for the much more reasonable $25 option.
The option to buy Pokémon GO Gift Cards is undoubtedly a fun addition for those with friends and family who are deep into the mobile game. The real win for all players is undoubtedly the addition of more PokéStops and GymsEspecially for those users who live in the vicinity of a Walmart Supercenter. According to Niantic, 90 percent of Americans live within 10 miles of a Walmart, so most trainers should be able to shoot a few more stops in the coming months.

Even if they are limited to certain locations
As happy as I am to see Niantic adding more PokéStop locations for players in the United States, as someone who lives on a different continent, it’s a little disappointing. I understand that the partnership with Walmart makes gift cards and the new locations almost exclusively connected to the US. I would like to see something similar happen in Europe. I can only hope that a similar deal is established with a local chain to give us Pokémon GO Players in the North have more options for Gyms and Pokestops.
