Cronos: The New Dawn and Project R are the next big horror titles from the Bloober team
Bloober Team Self-Publishing Choice for Project R marks a significant turning point in the developer's evolution. Their long-term strategy for 2023-2027 of focusing on independent publishing will ensure complete creative control over IP and give them greater flexibility. The Bloober team has successfully provided its own adaptations of Silent Hill 2 and 2019 Blair Witch as well, with the prior no doubt bolstering his confidence. The preservation of the iconic aspects of Konami's 2001 classic has been reinforced with modern gameplay, achieving a Metacritic score of 86. This means they have experience adapting popular IPs such as Project R will be.
In addition to Project Rthe Bloober team is working to release its own intellectual property, Chronos: The New Dawn which will arrive in 2025. The third-person survival horror game was revealed on its YouTube channel, being described as a “twisted story of time travel” with retro-futuristic visuals.
