Fallout London is releasing three DLCs in 2025, and it looks like it takes inspiration from New Vegas

The developers of Fallout LondonTeam FOLON, revealed that three DLCs for success Fallout 4 Effect mod will reach the masses in 2025. Fallout London got off to a bit of a rocky start, as some major setbacks caused a delay in the massive mod's release. The mod has since become a huge success, attracting over a million players since its release earlier this year.

The FOLON team took to Reddit to announce upcoming content releases, showing just enough for fans to ask questions. While information about what to expect from the DLCs is almost non-existent, the image showing the three gives an idea of what fans can expect.

Fallout London DLC excited fans

There should be a lot of content available in 2025

Comments on the Reddit thread are overwhelmingly positive, as a commenter alactusman states, “I bought Fallout 4 just to play and I love it so far! Keep it up!” Comments like this must be endearing to the developers, as the seas were anything but calm just before the mods were released. Other commenters are perplexed by the fact that this is still a free mod, as the amount of content within it is comparable to expansions for AAA titles. With its own characters, plots, a multitude of dialogues and the mysterious and immersive setting of London, there is no shortage of things to do in the mod.

Other reviews discuss the sheer amount of content that already exists, not to mention the addition of three DLCs coming next year. So far, information is quite limited on what to expect from each of the DLCs, but the image showing the three titles gets people talking. Update number one is called “Rabbit and Pig,” which gives very few hints as to what it might mean. The second update is titled “Last Orders,” which again leaves a lot to the imagination. The third update, however, is the one that is turning the gears. Titled “Wildcard”, it looks like it could be about gambling, which could pay homage to the smash hit Fallout: New Vegas.

Our take: Fallout London got off to a rocky start, but is getting great results

Rocky roads led to smooth sailing

Earlier this year in April, the FOLON team had to make the decision to postpone their mod after Bethesda announced that the Fallout 4 Effect the next-gen upgrade would be released just two days later Fallout London was scheduled to be released. The development team was concerned that the update would completely break the mod, so the decision was made to pause the release until they could find a workaround to the problem. Dean Carter, FOLON team project lead, discussed how painful this choice was, as it seemed that four long years of work could end up being interrupted during the release process.

Even with the delays, Fallout London continues to be a success, and just two months ago the developers announced that over 1 million players have enjoyed the mod since launch. With Fall 5 probably years from now, mods like this keep Precipitation fans engaged as they await Bethesda's next official release.
