When Married at first sight season 18 experts paired David Trimble with Michelle Tomblin, it seemed like a perfect match, but this turned out to be one of the most disastrous combinations in MAFS history thanks to Michelle's cruel attitude towards him. Among the MAFS season 18's cast members were David and Michelle, who seemed compatible. However, it became evident that the two were different as the season progressed. Michelle has the same vibe as Alyssa Ellman, who had no interest in learning more about her husband, Chris Collette.
Instead of communicating that she doesn't like him, she became hostile towards David. David seems kind and patient, but Michelle treats him like he's useless, living at home with nothing to offer. She also sabotaged the marriage with her passive aggressiveness and constantly joked about David's parents doing everything for him. David is Madison Myers' type. Madison was paired with Allen Slovick, who she openly said wasn't her type. She also openly criticized Allen's style of dress, saying that Allen should have a more conventional appearance. On the other hand, David ticks most of Madison's boxes. They both love working out. The two met at the gym during their honeymoon vacation, so they would probably be perfect for each other. Michelle was looking for a kind guy, a vibe she didn't get from David, while Madison needed someone other than Allen. David deserves someone who sees him for who he isallows him to be himself and, most importantly, is interested in learning more about himself. Michelle has been authoritarian. Ironically, Michelle was open to being with someone who lived with his parents at the beginning of Married at first sight. She uses David's living situation as an excuse to not be attracted to him and not look like a villain.
