Just a few months away Kraven the HunterUpon release, New York Comic Con’s latest reveal offers a glimpse into a dark and bloody world. As the next iteration of the Sony Spider-Man universe, the film will follow the villain Kraven, who is on a tough mission to become the greatest hunter in the world and at the same time preserve the environment. The R-rated superhero film is set to be released on December 13 and has a budget of $130 million. Aaron Taylor-Johnson will play Kraven.
At Sony’s NYCC panel, where Screen Rant’s Molly Freeman was present, a clip from Kraven offered a first look at brutal violence. Although the footage has not been revealed to the public, it is likely that the opening scene of the film and revealed an impressive brutality that explains the mature classification. In this brief clip, enemies are split in half, impaled by fangs and encrusted with spikes, as Kraven plans and conducts his escape from prison.
