Shared by EmpireThe pictures for Skeleton Crew Focus on the four children – Neel, Wim, KB and Fern – and their droid companion, SM-33. The first sees the children silhouetted against a swirling blue atmosphere, standing with a hooded figure – more likely Love’s Jod. The second focuses on SM-33, who looks quite a harrowing silhouette against a red background with wires sticking out of his metallic limbs. These pictures really capture the overall vibe of that Skeleton Crew is going for: a 1980s coming-of-age story.
These new images of Skeleton Crew tease a very different Star Wars show
It’s brand new territory for Star Wars
The pictures already promise something completely different from that Star Wars Has ever done before, showing the galaxy through the eyes of children in a way that heightens every spectacle even more. SM-33 in particular is a great ode to the story of Peter PanAs SM-33 essentially spells out “SME.” The story is really built on those who became the foundation of many people’s childhood, which is slightly deviated from Star Wars Typical sources of inspiration. It will, however, still have some of these, most notably with the pirates and, of course, Law’s Jedi.
Our take on Star Wars: Skeleton Crew
Star Wars really needs a show like this
This kind of change in Star Wars Is exactly what the franchise needs right now. With fresh projects or relying too much on familiar Star Wars stories or deviating too far from the norm, Skeleton Crew Makes a change that is still attached to the roots of the franchise. With most of the original trilogy releasing in the 1980s, this call back to that decade is absolutely perfect. Not only that, but focusing on the children is also a huge step in the right direction; It is the childish wonder of the galaxy that has always made Star Wars So appealing.
