The user posted several shorts on how to face Jeff, which, looking at the comments section, seem to have helped several players. Commentator Xero0911 states: “Does Hulk's barrier just counter? The short shows Hulk being able to stop the ultimate with his barrier, while Groot can use his bark wall to hide from Jeff mid-ult, which makes sense to a certain extent. Those leading the tree-like Vanguard seemed to have no idea this was possible, which could be a game changer in the future. One of the other strategies is to wait until players hear Jeff's hint that his ult has been used and spread. This doesn't specify how much the ultimate has changed, but it does say that the shark will live longer after swallowing opponents. If it was only changed for a few seconds, it doesn't matter, as many believe the ability to take an entire team and jump off the map is annoying enough with the amount of time Jeff previously had. As someone who plays Jeff often, I don't think the hero needed a boost in terms of ultimate ability.

There's nothing worse than hearing the ult go off and knowing that in a matter of seconds the shark will swell around you and throw you off, with very little you can do about it. Hopefully these counters can be used more often to take on the cute and cuddly creature when needed, but for now, Marvel Rivals fans will have to keep an eye on Jeff a little longer until he gets a nerf.
