Alden Ehrenreich
Season 1, Episode 2 “Wendigo”
When making a Supernatural watch it again, audiences won't have to wait long to meet a familiar face. Alden Ehrenreich plays Ben Collins in the second episode of Supernaturala boy who ventures into the woods with his sister, along with Sam and Dean Winchester after his brother's disappearance. Ben is shy and doesn't talk much, but ends up helping Sam and Dean defeat the Wendigo that has Ben's brother Tommy captive.

Corey Monteith
Season 1, Episode 2 “Wendigo”
Ironically, Alden Ehrenreich wasn't the only successful actor to appear in SupernaturalThe second episode ever. Although the episode is often considered one of the SupernaturalIn the worst episodes, there's no denying the star-studded talent. Corey Monteith played a hiker named Gary in “Wendigo” and it was one of Tommy Collins' friends who disappeared and was later eaten by the Wendigo. Monteith's appearance is short, but he is one of the first victims of the “monster of the week”.
After its appearance in Supernatural, Corey Monteith starred as Finn Hudson in the hit television series Happiness. Your role in Happiness earned Monteith a Teen Choice Award in 2011, as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award for the entire cast in 2009. Monteith would also play Owen Andrews in the Selena Gomez film. Monte Carlo. Sadly, Monteith was found dead in July 2013 from an overdose at the age of 31. Monteith's death was a great loss, but his legacy lives on through his fans. Happiness.

Kathryn Newton
First Appeared: Season 10, Episode 9 “The Things We Left Behind”
Kathryn Newton first appeared as Claire Novak in Supernatural season 10, although Claire's character was introduced in season 4. Claire is the human daughter of Jimmy Novak, the man Castiel uses as a host for most of Supernaturalis running. Claire was a troubled teenager who was alone before Sam, Dean and Castiel sent her to live with Jody Mills. While there, Claire continues to struggle but eventually finds her way as a monster hunter. Claire would be mentioned through Supernatural season 15, but was not seen on screen afterwards Supernatural season 13.
Supernatural It was Kathryn Newton's breakout role, as she had a very successful career. The 27-year-old had starring roles in the short-lived Netflix show The Societyas well as portraying Abigail Carlson in Big little lies. However, Newton has recently found success on the big screen, landing the role of Cassie Lang in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as well as leading roles in Lisa Frankenstein, Strangeand Abigail. Newton's shot at stardom isn't surprising, but it meant she wouldn't be attached to the Supernatural spin-off “Wayward Sisters,” which was never picked up.

Katie Cassidy
First Appeared: Season 3, Episode 1 “The Magnificent Seven”
Katie Cassidy was the first actress to play the demon Ruby in Supernatural. As one of two female main cast members added to the Supernatural season 3, Cassidy took on the role of Emon and was very popular with fans. Even though she wasn't able to save Dean from going to Hell, she proved to be a good ally to Sam and Dean. Although the character Ruby returned in Supernatural in season 4, Cassidy didn't want to, as he moved on to a different project. Many fans originally preferred Cassidy's version of Ruby to Genevieve Cortese's, although Cortese's off-screen relationship with star Jared Padalecki helped change minds.
After leaving SupernaturalKatie Cassidy has had a successful career on other CW shows, in particular Arrow. Cassidy played Laurel Lance/Black Canary/Black Siren on several Arrowverse shows and was able to show complexity in his portrayals of heroes and villains. Cassidy also found success in film, appearing in Monte Carlo (2011), and A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010). On TV, Cassidy also had leading roles, in programs such as Melrose Place and Harper Islandalthough she also had a recurring role in gossip Girl.

DJ Qualls
First Appeared: Season 7, Episode 8 “Season Seven, Time for a Wedding!”
DJ Qualls has joined a beloved group of recurring characters on Supernatural when he took on the role of Garth Fitzgerald IV. The dentist-turned-hunter became good friends with the Winchester brothers and helped out on many different cases. It was revealed in Supernatural Season 9 Garth was bitten by a werewolf and joined a pack that only ate animals. During his time as a werewolf, Garth learned to control his desire for human flesh and even married fellow werewolf Bess.
Although DJ Qualls has been performing since the early 2000s, after guest starring in Supernatural his television career flourished. Qualls played one of the main characters, Billy Nugent, in the FX series Legitimate. He also had a regular role on the series Z Nation. DJ Qualls also had a starring role in the acclaimed Amazon series The Mando in Castelo Alto, where he appeared in 30 of the show's 40 episodes.

Leslie Odom Jr.
Season 7, Episode 8 “Season Seven, Time for a Wedding!”
In the same episode that introduced Garth to the public, Leslie Odom Jr. made a guest appearance as a Crossroads Demon named Guy. Guy tricks Sam and Dean superfan Becky Rosen by saying he is a Wiccan who can make Sam fall in love with her. When Becky finally runs out of the elixir, Guy offers a deal with Crossroads. It is revealed that after Guy makes his Crossroad deal with one of SupernaturalOf the worst demons, another demon, Jackson, kills the human, demanding the deal earlier. Dean wants to kill Guy, but Crowley appears to rebuke Guy, stating that demons don't go back on their deals.

Ashley Benson
Season 4, Episode 7 “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester”
In a rare Halloween episode of Supernaturalthe Winchester brothers seek to stop Ashley Benson's character Tracy, an ancient witch, from the creation of the demon Samhain. The real twist in the episode comes when it is revealed that Tracy's art teacher, Don McManus, is her brother, and she is allowing him to sacrifice her to create the demon. The episode is significant in a number of ways, mainly because it's the first time Sam Winchester meets Castiel after saving Dean from Hell.
Ashley Benson has had a great career since starring in Supernatural. More public You probably know Benson from Pretty Little Liars where she played Hanna Marin for 160 episodes. The role also earned Benson 4 Teen Choice Awards wins and an additional nomination. Lauren Cohan
First Appeared: Season 3, Episode 3 “Bad Day at Black Rock”
Along with Katie Cassidy, Lauren Cohan is the only other woman to appear as a regular on the series. Supernaturalalthough his tenure only lasted one season. Cohan played Bela Talbot, a con artist and thief who sold amulets for the rich. Bela wasn't much appreciated by the public and that's probably why her character only lasted until the end of Supernatural season 3, where it was revealed that she had made a deal with Crossroads 10 years earlier. Belle was killed by a hellhound in “Time is on My Side” when her deal expired.
Lauren Cohan would take on much better roles after leaving Supernatural. In particular, she began playing Maggie Greene in Undead in 2011. Cohan would appear in 145 episodes of the series and also plays Maggie Greene in the spin-off The Walking Dead: Dead Citywhich she is also an executive producer. Cohan also landed the lead role in ABC's short-lived dramedy. Whiskey Knightwhich only lasted one season.

Sterling K. Brown
First Appeared: Season 2, Episode 3 “Bloodlust”
Sterling K. Brown had a recurring role as Gordon Walker on Supernaturala fellow hunter who eventually turns against the Winchester brothers and intends to kill them by any means necessary. Gordon is shown as a hunter with no morals, which makes him one of the Supernaturalis one of the most hated hunters, and once he decides that something must die, it must be done without any questions being asked. In his pursuit of Sam, Gordon is transformed into a vampire, the same creature he specialized in hunting, but ends up being killed by Sam after taking a girl hostage.
Sterling K. Brown appeared four times in Supernaturalbut his career has taken off since then. He starred in the hit show This is us but also had roles in award-winning films such as Black Panther and American Fiction. In total, Brown has been nominated 91 times for various awards and has over 20 wins, many of which came from his portrayal of Randall in This is us.

Alona Tal
First Appeared: Season 2, Episode 2 “Everybody Loves a Clown”
Alona Tal brought fan-favorite character Jo Harvelle to life in Supernatural. Jo was the first real potential love interest for Dean Winchester, although the two never realized it. Jo, along with her mother Ellen, were hunters and were instrumental in raising Supernatural what a blow it was. They grounded a show in a way few other characters have, but Jo and Ellen's deaths in Supernatural Season 5 is still one of the most moving of the entire series.
Since his days in SupernaturalAlona Tal has had recurring roles on shows such as Burn notice and Truth be told. Most recently, she returned as Stella on the CBS-turned-Paramount+ show SEAL Team.
