From December 20, 2024 to January 9, 2025, Marvel Rivals has the ongoing Winter Celebration event where you can earn several free rewards. During this time, you can participate in the new Jeff's Winter Splash Festival mode and complete missions to get a new skin, emote, and other cosmetics. You can achieve multiple objectives to obtain different items, earning an event-exclusive currency.
All free rewards are linked to Jeff the Land Shark at Marvel Rivalsas other skins exclusive to the Winter Celebration event cost units to purchase. In the in-game store, you can purchase winter-themed costumes for Groot, Rocket Raccoon, Venom, and Magik at discounted prices for now. These event skins may increase in cost or disappear over timeso get them while you can.
How to participate in Jeff's Winter Splash Festival (4v4 Arcade mode)
Find a new game mode for exclusive rewards
When you log in Marvel Rivals during the Winter Celebration event, you can choose to participate in Jeff's Winter Splash Festival “To play” tab. Along with Quick Match, Competitive, and Practice Range modes, you should see the new 4v4 arcade mode among the game types listed. Simply queue up for this match type with you and up to three friends to start finding a match in this new mode.
During Jeff's Winter Splash Festival, two teams that can only play because Jeff the Land Shark must compete to cover more snow on the map. Similar to SplatoonThe team that covers a greater percentage of a map wins, but you can eliminate enemy players throughout the match. With eight Jeffs at once, things can get chaotic as you use Land Shark's strong Ultimate to help your team succeed.
Entering this game mode, you has several missions that you can complete. You can check what these objectives are along with your daily and weekly missions, which are accessed through your “Seasons” tab in the main menu. As the Winter Celebration event continues, new quests will be added and updated over time.

Earn different types of frost to fill the postcard
By completing missions in Jeff's Winter Splash Festival, you Earn rewards by progressing and decorating a postcard​​​​​. The winter celebration event in Marvel Rivals There are two unique types of currency that you get for completing goals in the new 4v4 mode called:
When you obtain any of the types of Frost, you can spend it to decorate the Winter Celebration postcard. Reaching different postcard progression milestones will allow you to receive free rewards tied to Jeff the Land Shark. For example, reaching 100 Winter Atmosphere progress points on the postcard will give you a special spray related to Jeff the Land Shark's new Cuddly Fuzzlefin skin in Marvel Rivals.
When you earn Silver or Gold Frost, go to the Winter Celebration event menu and select the postcard to start decorating it. From here, choose any of the decorations to see how much it costs to get Frost and how much progress it will make.
It usually only takes a few Frosts to earn a lot of Atmosphere Points, so finishing all currently active quests for the event should be enough to get all the decorations. At the time of writing, these missions include:
- Win 3 games at Jeff's Winter Splash Festival
- Win 2 matches in Festival mode with your team's decoration rate above 40%
- Complete 5 matches in Festival mode
- Defeat 15 enemies in Festival mode
There is five different decorations that you need to unlock spending Frost, with each progressing the postcard by 100 points. The biggest prize is Jeff's Cuddly Fuzzlefin skin, which is only given when you earn all 500 points needed to complete the postcard. The other free rewards include:

About two Gold Frosts can get you a decoration, so try to do any quest tied to that monetary value first. This way, you will quickly collect Jeff's Winter Splash Festival rewards in Wonder Rivals without having to work too hard in the new game mode.
