Zenless Zero ZoneMiyabi aims to be the new dominant force in the game, making it crucial to know how to build and use her. ZZZUpdate 1.4 has finally been released and along with its new units comes an exciting story. Story 1.4 appears to culminate in the first part of this creative game. Along with the story, 1.4 brings many quality of life updates to make the game smoother and easier for new players.
Miyabi's two-element kit may seem daunting initially, but it's simple. The main part of his kit revolves around his Fallen Frost stacks, which can be consumed up to six, to unleash his Shimotsuki basic attack with incredibly high damage. She gains two stacks from using her Ex-Special Attack or when any team member activates a Mayhem effect, and one from applying Frostburn to an enemy. Frostburn is the other crucial part of his kit, as it puts enemies into a state where the accumulation of anomalies increases.
Best W engine for Miyabi
An unfortunate lack of options
Miyabi's best W-Engine by a large margin is his signature Hailstorm Shrine. At base, gives 24% critical chance and 50% critical damage. These stats are huge for Miyabi, as not only is she a hybrid Anomaly main DPS, but her Anomaly stack will be increased by 100% of her critical rate, up to a maximum of 80%. Another bonus of this mechanic is the extra bonus of 20% ice damage, stacking up to twice; will give when using an Ex-Special or when activating an Anomaly.
The next best option, albeit with a considerable downfall, is Grace's Fusion Compiler. This option offers a 12% attack boost with a cumulative Anomaly Proficiency buff of 25. Anomaly Proficiency isn't that crucial, as Miyabi will have enough in her base kit and discs, but it never hurts to have more. This pick is mainly a stat stick to give her a good amount of attack and 24% bonus penetration.
4-star options are limited, but can work for budget Miyabi builds. Ideal choices here are Electro-Lip Gloss or Rainforest Gourmet. The first is only available through the battle pass, but offers greater attack and damage buffs than other 4-stars. Meanwhile, Rainforest Gourmet can be purchased from Box Galaxy, and while it has a high attack boost at max stacks, it is difficult to keep those stacks consistent.
Best Unity Discs for Miyabi
A set made just for her
The best unity disc set for Miyabi is the new Branch & Blade Song. At two pieces, this set deals 16% critical damage, and at four, it provides an extra 30% if the user's Anomaly Mastery is 115 or higher, along with a 12% increase in critical rate for 15 seconds when destroying an enemy .. This set works well for Miyabi as its requirements meet exactly what she wants to do while also giving her all the stats she needs to excel.
For those who don't want to farm a new set, the second option is the always useful Woodpecker Electro. This classic DPS set grants an 8% increase in critical rate and a 9% attack buff when landing a critical hit. Given how necessary it is to build a Miyabi with a high critical rate, this set helps make that easier than the others and rewards her with an easy-to-maintain attack buff. It won't hit the same damage numbers as Branch & Blade Song, but it's still a healthy alternative.
The main stats for Discs 4, 5, and 6 should be Critical Rate, Cold Damage, and Attack % respectively. This allows her to limit the anomaly stack bonus from her passive and deal as much damage as possible. Substat priority should be critical rate (up to 80%), critical damage, then attack %. After that, the best options are more Anomaly Proficiency or Penetration, but any random stat can suffice.

Best teams for Miyabi
A hybrid DPS powerhouse
Miyabi is currently in a strange situation where he has an excellent team and a handful of good but not great options. Your best option is to pair up with another Section 6 member Yanagi and its best constructions. Caesar is best for a support unit, but a regular Stunner can work too. This option works so well as Miyabi doesn't need as much field time to deal damage, giving Yanagi the time she needs. Meanwhile, Yanagi unleashes regular disorder and her special polarity disorder, which can give Miyabi all the Fallen Frost batteries she needs.
A smaller version of this team that might work is replacing Yanagi with Bernice. However, this puts Miyabi in an on-field role, as Burnice is best used as an off-field unit. A Lucy or Soukaku support unit best utilizes this team combo to provide attack buffs and consume some field time when the other two are not being used.
Miyabi can also work outside of Disorder teams, but not as well. In that sense, she's essentially a blunter version of Ellen Joe's best build. She will also use the same teams as her, paired with Lycaon or Lighter for stuns and Soukaku for massive attacks and increased ice damage.. This team takes away some of Miyabi's identity, but could work very well for those who aren't invested in Anomaly teams.
Overall, Miyabi aims to be one of the top DPS units in the future. ZZZ. Her flexibility is incredible and, when used on her best teams, she reaches a higher level than any other character. It will be interesting to see if the future provides a powerful support unit that works around the Anomaly characters, as this would take Miyabi even further. Zenless Zero Zone.
