Dune: Prophecy the sixth and final episode will arrive soon. HBO's latest blockbuster television show is a prequel toDune film franchiseexploring iconic factions like the Bene Gesserit, House Harkonnen, and House Corrino at much earlier stages. Season 1 mainly focused on one conflict between Desmond Hart, a soldier with mysterious powers, and the Brotherhood, led by Mother Superior Valya Harkonnen.
The season finale should see these forces clash. Dune: Prophecy The end of episode 5 finally saw more information about Desmond Hart revealed as the plot thickened at the Imperial Palace. Sister Lila also woke up after the episode 2 procedure almost killed her, although she wasn't completely back to normal. Set 10,000 years before the films in Dune timeline, Dune: Prophecy the plot is fundamental to the universe as a whole, drawing ideas from both the original novels by Frank Herbert and the expanded books by Brian Hebert and Kevin J. Anderson.

Dune: Prophecy fills HBO's usual time slot
Staying consistent with Dune: Prophecy first five episodes, the season 1 finale will be released at 9 p.m. ET, filling HBO's Sunday night slot. Episode 6 is titled “The High-Handed Enemy” and will be released on the HBO network as well as the MAX streaming service. New episodes will be released around the world at the same time, but will be adjusted to the respective time zones. Those on the West Coast will be able to see the episode at 6pm PT, while those on GMT will see the release at 2am on December 23rd.

Dune: Prophecy The teaser for the season 1 finale shows several conflicts reaching their climax. Valya Harkonnen appears to be planning a final move with Francesca to regain influence over Emperor Javicco Corrinoeliminating Desmond Hart. Meanwhile, on Wallach IX, Lila can be heard saying, “The Brotherhood has lost its way”, implying that one of their ancestors has gone rogue and will be a problem for the Harkonnen sisters. The series has reached a boiling point and audiences should expect an action-packed finale.
Is Dune: Prophecy Season 2 Happening?
Nothing is confirmed so far, but it's certainly possible
Given that Dune has become one of Warner Bros.' flagship franchises, they will likely be encouraged to keep the prequel show going. Although Dune: Prophecy reviews were not as stellar as expected, the series found an audience. Dune: Prophecy Season 2's chances received a positive update before Season 1 even aired, with co-creator/showrunner Alison Schapker and executive producer Jordan Goldberg sharing that HBO reciprocated their energy to continue the story at New York Comic Con .
