THE yellow stone finale wraps up several storylines and brings the characters' arcs full circle, but it also addresses one of the most intriguing and debated aspects of the series. Taylor Sheridan's neo-Western drama (supposedly) ends in December 2024, more than six years since its premiere, following the final episode of season 5 – “Life Is a Promise”. The ending presents all yellow stone characters from season 5, part 2 going their separate ways. They begin new chapters in their lives, including a farm hand who asks a familiar face for a job.

Fortunately, most of these stories have complete endings before the credits roll. Kayce sells land to Chief Rainwater for $1.25/acre (its cost when the Duttons acquired it) on one condition: he and his family can keep their house in East Camp. As for Beth, she ultimately kills Jamie and gets away with it, winning the Dutton family war. In the end, the ranch hands also move on, including Teeter.

He tells Teeter to use it to buy an audiobook and “learn to speak English, because I don’t speak hillbilly and I’m not fucking trying to learn.”
