Pokémon TCG Pocket Leak May Have Just Revealed All Events and Rewards Until February 2025

A recent datamine may have revealed the next slate of events for Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket. Pokémon TCG Pocket recently released Mythical Islandits first expansion. The new set adds over 80 new cards to the game, including a powerful new combo of Celebi ex and Serperior. Mythical Island is expected to be a “mini set” that will be followed by a larger set early next year. However, although some of this information was available through datamines, Pokémon TCG Pocket has kept quiet about future releases and events.

Shortly after Pokémon TCG Pocket Released Mythical Island, dataminers have obtained a new list of likely game events. This list, which can be seen at the Reddit post below, should not be taken as definitive, largely because Pokémon TCG Pocket in fact, it has not commented on its future event schedule.

However, assuming the list is accurate, players can expect free Mythical Island packsnew Wonder Pick events and a new series of solo and multiplayer battle events. This isn't the first time that datamines have offered a first look at plans for the game, and it's likely that this has at least some bearing on reality.

What events are coming to Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket?

Wonder Pick Events, Mass Outbreak Events, and Giveaways Are Reportedly Coming to the Game

Assuming the list is correct, players can expect the following schedule of events over the next month, several of which should be familiar:

• December 20 to January 10: Mythical Island Emblem Event

• December 25th – January 1st: Lightning Pokémon Mass Outbreak Event

• January 1-15: Blastoise Solo Battle Event

• January 8-22: Charmander and Squirtle Chansey's Choice

• January 20-27: Mythical Island SP Emblem Event

• January 23-29: Psychic Pokémon Mass Outbreak Event

In addition to the events listed above, Pokémon TCG Pocket is also supposedly distributing a series of login bonuses that include 36 Hourglass Packs and 4 Mythical Island Packs between Christmas and New Year. Another giveaway for 24 hourglass packs, 4 additional mythical island packs, and a Pikachu promotional card will run from January 1st to January 8th.

The Emblem Event will challenge players to achieve a certain number of wins, while the SP Emblem Event focuses on building a 5-game winning streak. The Mass Outbreak and Chansey Pick events will involve the use of the Wonder Pick function. Interestingly, login bonus events will be the first time Pokémon TCG Pocket distributes full decks of cards free of charge, suggesting future plans.

The list seems accurate because it includes several family-friendly events, plus some timely login bonus events that coincide with the holiday. I like that we have more events and overlapping events in January, as This will help players continue logging in for reasons that don't involve opening card packs.

I admit that I am not a fan of the return of the SP Emblem event, as I feel that the win streak requirement is very arbitrary and was used by many players during the last event. I'm also curious to know how the negotiation will ultimately impact Pokémon TCG Pocket events when this feature launches early next year.
