Although he has certainly starred in some successful comedies since then, such as Bruce Almighty and Yes man During the 2000s, these characters did not become as iconic as their previous roles. Sonic the HedgehogRobotnik was the only exception to this, and since he apparently isn't serious about retiring, it remains to be seen which iconic characters Jim Carrey can create in the future.
