Jurassic World Rebirth reveals new images, teasing a journey through the jungle and the big curve. With scripts from the original Jurassic Park Writer David Koepp, Gareth Edwards' upcoming reboot stars Scarlett Johansson as Zora Bennett, Jonathan Bailey as Dr. Henry Loomis, Mahershala Ali as Duncan Kincaid and aims to recapture the magic of Steven Spielberg's 1983 classic.
New images revealed by Weekly entertainment offer a preview of Bailey, Johansson and Sylvian's journey through the jungle, giving a preview of the characters' intricate dynamics. Johansson's Zora is a “special operations, ex-CIA type“and a contractor who will extract DNA from the monoliths alongside Duncan and Dr. Loomis, who is the captain of the team and, according to Edwards, is”like Ahab from our movie.” Check out what he said about Dr. Loomis below:
He's like Ahab from our movie. He's lost in terms of the military element of the mission. He's very comfortable with excavations and expeditions, but not the life-and-death risks that Kincaid and Zora are facing.
The story's obstacle is a civilian family that happens to be nearby. After receiving the distress signal, Zora's team is now responsible for transporting the Delgado family to safety. Check out what Edwards had to say about the curveball below:
Obviously everything goes wrong and it becomes a situation you enjoy watching as a Jurassic fan. Once in the adventure, the film doesn't stop until the final credits. The fun is in the chase, the escape, the scare, the horror, the curveballs, the entire plot of the scenarios and the dinosaur moments.
More to come…
