Shonen Jump Sparks Concerns After Special Anime Event Rejects Chainsaw Man Ahead of Film's Release

Skip+the official online manga streaming service of Shōnen Jump, will hold an exhibition to celebrate the platform’s 10th anniversary. Taking place between April and May 2025 in Tokyo, the exhibition will focus on bringing its many popular online series to life through interactive creations and collections of official illustrations. Great successes of the manga industry, such as Spy x Family, Kaiju #8and Dandadanas well as other series that popularized the Jump more platform will have all the highlights. Shōnen Jump released the following key visual in anticipation of the exhibition.

However, amid all the celebration, fans noticed that the many works of highly regarded Jump artist Tatsuki Fujimoto, are nowhere to be found in the next exhibition. The author behind chainsaw manone of Jump more'most popular series currently running, helped launch the platform into massive popularity with 2016 Fire Punchbefore releasing a series of acclaimed one-shots on the platform.

Despite the series' enormous popularity Shōnen Jump released the event's main visual with neither Denji nor Pochita in sight.

Based on the official artwork and web description, it appears the exhibit will focus on other extremely popular series, like the one currently on hiatus. Spy x Family and Dandadan. No official reason was given about why Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga is being excluded from the events, although there are a few possible explanations.
